    Thanks so much for all the support Hop!

    Just waiting to get my health insurance cards so I can get back to the doc. I want to get my blood work done now that I've been "off" for awhile. I'm also interested in my cholesterol and blood pressure. I'm still currently taking meds for BP and water retention. I think the water pills are a big part of my completely sweating the Nile while doing cardio. I hope I've come a good enough way to maybe cut down on the meds now. Keeping my fingers crossed. Either way I've been feeling a hell of alot better lately and it's lead me to being able to do MORE work in the gym. Absolutely excited about keeping this up and seeing what I can do with it.

    Cardio was death today. Just really struggled. I think the weather really affected my breathing, my lungs felt tight all day. Not asthma tight, but not "full" either.
    Managed to get 13 minutes in on Random Hill Level 18. I was soaked and my lungs felt tight.

    6.15.10 Cardio
    Truck Pulls!
    This is Drew's work truck. It had a bunch of concrete pavers loaded in the back. Total weight, around 4800lbs.
    We did 3 pull trips and 2 push trips. The first pull trip we did all the way to the end of the building you see at the end. That sloped down though so we decided on the rest to cut it right at the end of the parking lot like you see in these clips. It was a great time and I feel like jelly today.

    Thanks everyone. Cocoa, you're absolutely right, getting healthy has really allowed me to do more work, get involved in more things, and push harder than before. It's what helps me to go from a big squat and dead session to walk out in that heat and continue doing the "fun" stuff. I love it.

    Brian, thanks man but really I am extremely weak raw right now. I've got a long road to travel to get back to where I need to be. But I've taken the first few steps and I like what I see ahead.

    I pretty much feel the same way, because I got use to training in gear. I felt that my raw strength was making little gains, but i'm trying to change that. Now that I am training for a raw meet, I hope that when I do put gear on that I see a good increase in weight.

    Really beat up from pushing so hard lately so today was just a quick challenge day. Decided to push for how fast I could do a mile on the elliptical. A few weeks ago I hit 2 miles in 18 minutes on level 15. Today I did a mile in 7:57 on level 15. Weight was at 378 today.

    Called it off a bit early today to get home and install an air conditioner. Haven't been sleeping well the last few nights with this heat wave. On top of it, my girl is pregnant in her 8th month. So it's been pretty bad sleeping wise. Getting about 4 hours a night so I just didn't have much energy left. Slept great last night though! Thanks to my buddy Tim Gale for coming over and giving me a hand with it. Went to bed at 9:30 last night and go up at 5:30 this morning for work. Felt great.

    Took the last few days off. Been really tired and when I went in to do cardio on Thursday I just couldn't even get started. Felt pretty beat today but couldn't stop myself. Was supposed to be a down week but once I got started I felt pretty good so I kept going. Not a great day but better than I would have done if I'd have taken the down week.

    Struggled hard with these. I wanted to try something different so I suggested these but apparently I can't use good technique. By the time I get down to the bar and in correct position to pull, the back of the bar is hitting my calves, the handles are out in front of me and my back loses arch. One of the guys from the strongman side even said something trying to help. Definitely noticeable. I wanted to go at least 3x's with 4pps but it just wasn't happening without possibly getting hurt.

    Hips and knees are sore today. Really been pushing my cardio hard and I"m beginning to feel it. I feel like a different person since I've started. It's great to be able to DO things again and not have to rest every 5 seconds. Looking better is a good plus too.
