    Looking strong big man!!! I read your post in Vinnys log about being an emotional lifter, and your not alone. I'm a very emotional lifter . That last meet I did, I kept on getting very teary eyed because of what I was able to squat 6 months after surgery and then bench and pull afterwards. I know I will get very emotional the day I pull 700, lol. That's a number I've been chasing since I was a teenager.

    Haha. I've cried on the platform before. I was a wreck the second after benching 800. Same thing after pulling 770 (set a gym record and put my name on the board). I get teased about it alot but it's what motivates and gets me going. I couldn't do it without it.

    Yep. I'm on Week 3. I think this deload is coming at the perfect time. I feel good, but my speed is getting a little slower and I'm feeling some small aches. I'll be deloading with only 50% for 8x2 on both the bench and squat. Deadlift deload was this week.

    Was really ready for the deload but needed to push through tonight. Elbow is still bothering me but felt ok during warmups.

    405x3 (Elbow started hurting. I got really shaky. Definite signs I'm deloading at the perfect time)
    460/4x3
    460x5!

    That was it. I got through tonight. Elbow is on fire so I've been icing non-stop. Hoping the deload week gives it a little time to heal. Next week is supposed to be 50% (325) for 8x2 but I'm thinking I may just take a complete deload on bench day. Happy with the program so far. Feeling really strong and the break comes at a great time.
