    Elbows felt better with the work. Hurt to start, but they loosened up. Keeping up with the Pre/Rehab, the Gallon of Blue Heat arrived today. I smothered my elbows, shoulders, and hamstrings in it before training. I also rolled on the Lacrosse ball to loosen up my shoulders. Afterward, I came home, stretched the hamstrings out big time and did the Vinny endorsed Dixie Cup Icing session. I feel AMAZING. It's really helping alot! I should have listened and started this shit a long time ago!

    Tone I caught that thread on FB by that guy Mark Phillips (i think that was his name) about how equipment has ruined powerlifting.

    I would have loved to have been able to post on it! That is the kind of guy that just needs a good slap. I would put my life on it that he was shit at lifting equipped.

    Anyway, going by his logic would it therefore be better, more pure, honest etc if we asked all the F1 drivers to get out of their vehicles and just run around the track to see who is fastest that way? Afterall they are not really that fast. Its the cars making them that fast. They are lying to themselves. Silly F1 drivers.

    Im not sure that he knew the difference between a sling shot and an actual bench shirt yet he chose to open up a thread on a public forum (knowing full well that it was highly controversial) and then defends his halfwit statements by arguing over miscomprehension of capitalized words and non.

    Others chiming in about how the EPHD blast shirts pinched there arms and what not. Equipment has ruined PL? No those crybabies ruin it.

    I really just chimed in as a sort of Troll move. I enjoy upsetting those types. Listen, this sport is meaningless. The only person you need to impress is yourself. I don't care if the most you bench is 150lbs, if you overcame your demons and insecurities to get there, you're stronger. The EASY part of this sport is physical. The hard part is mental. Telling yourself your good enough, strong enough to hold that 800lbs over your face, put that 1000 on your back. You can't explain that to people that don't do it. It's more fun to just troll them and let them embarrass themselves.

    I love raw lifting and have chosen (at this stage) to go that way but I have lifted equipped and enjoy that too. Both have challenges, anyone who has tried to learn the groove in a shirt or a suit knows it is NOT easy, you don't just put it on and get 100lbs. It takes hard work an practice, probably longer sessions in the gym too. It isn't an easy way out by any stretch. Each have there own challenges

    If you are beating your best weights whether raw or equipped I don't care as long as your striving to get stronger. Isn't that what we are all trying to do?

    Pisses me off when people try get all righteous about raw lifting. Try put a shirt on an see how easy it actually is. It is darn hard work.

    Anyway sorry just had to get that in, don't mean to hijack the thread. Lifting is looking good Tone, may have to try putting some deep heat type cream on my elbows pre-bench too, sounds like it helped. keep at it

    Had a hard time trying to sit to the box. The suit I have doesn't fit my legs anymore. All the raw squatting must have grown them and I find myself unable to really spread my knees and sit back. Tough mentally on me to not get the work in that I wanted but at least I pushed and got something. Then, I mixed up weeks on the deadlift. I was SUPPOSED to do 3x5@85% but I looked at the wrong week and did this:

    Speed Deads (50% of raw max & Quaded Minis (Screwed up here too cause it was supposed to be DOUBLED minis LOL))

    Home, iced, stretched, and contrast. I'm feeling pretty good! I need to get a new suit asap and start training the way I want to train.

    Finally coming off my Deload. Well deserved and needed. I did some small bench work Monday but nothing too crazy. I planned on benching and taking a Deload next week but VIP Training in Yardley, PA is having an Open House Bench Session so I wanted to be ready for that. Worked up to 675X3 off a 1-Board and called it a day.
