The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Training partners wanted

We have two spots open for training partners with our crew. We train in Wallingford, CT. It's a great facility and it is free. We bench on a Forza bench and "they" (I don't attend squat night) squat on an EliteFTS monolift. You will be required to make bench nights, Friday's starting between 5:30-6:00, and squat nights, Wednesday's starting between 5:30-6:00 also.

We are looking for two dedicated lifters. You do not have to be an elite lifter, you just need to have a good attitude, a thick skin, and be willing to listen and work hard. Also, most of us are in gear, but it's ok if you train raw. However, you are required to be on the bench and the monolift as long as the crew is. You can't just hit your sets and take off for assistance--unless you're Rhodes--just kidding Matt.

    Supplements I currently take: Nitrean , BCAA , Creatine 500 , Multi-Plus , Fish Oil

This is so ****ing ******ed it's almost beyond belief. So, if you eat 3k, you will automatically gain 3k worth of fat or muscle? Incredible. And here I am eating all this food, yet maintaining my weight. Fascinating.

You're one of those pussies that counts his almonds I bet.

I would kill to have a 3 or 4 person crew to SQ with. It's been two of us for the last 3 years, one to run the monolift and one to SQ. At best, we hook up our Spud straps to make sure we don't kill ourselves.
Seriously, I hope you guys find some more good lifting partners.

No kidding I love it when I visit people and get to work in with a bunch of other guys. Sometimes on saturdays I bench with a group of guys, we had 5 guys in the rack and 4 on the regular bench last time I went. Hit 420 reverse band bench, big pr with that lift for me, no gear. Its awesome when everyone is stronger than you too, great motivation and you make much faster progress working with other people like that. Most the time I'm alone in a crap fitness center.

We're still looking. Nobody local has shown any interest yet. Unfortunately squat day has fallen apart and can't be on Wednesday nights until at least December, due to Brian's schedule with work. So squatting is on a week by week basis for the time being. Hopefully we can get some interest anywho.
