The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Weight, Height and arm size

    Hey people

I just want to know those specs about whoever wants to write it down so i can get a general idea about height weight arm size ratio and I know to take in that there are a lot of factors but i still want to read it

And please dont tell me to squat, eat more and drop direct arm work lol i know all this and do it

I ask this cause I feel my arms are a bit undersized for my weight height but they may not be, and i would just like to see what arm sizes some of you people have

    Height: 5' 10"
    Weight: 170 / 78kgs
Arm Size Flexed and Cold: 14"s Left and Right
    Bodyweight : 195 - Height: 5' 9

    Current lifts:
    DL - 490 x 1 - 462 x 4 ... Nearly 500 so close
    BS - 374 x 1 - 330 x 5
    BP - 302 x 1 - 258 x 5, 225 x 10
    BR - 231 x 1 - 209 x 5
    PP - 220 x 1 - 198 x 4

Like any body part and the genetics factor everyone is different. The only thing you can do is continue to get stronger. I have yet to see a beast with small arms. I just don't see a magical fix or answer.

Like blackboard said, your never going to see a beast with small arms. Just keep lifting and eating the correct way. As long as your are hitting all the compound lifts along with weighted chins and dips your body will grow together. You can't be 170lbs with 20in arms.

    And since you asked...
    5'11
    203lbs
    16in arms flexed (cold)

ELmx479, my friend weighs the and has same height as you and also has 16" arms

This has nothing to do with this thread but if I was your size for one day I would go to my local mall and just run someone over. It would most likely be one of those gay emo kids.

The problem as stated, is everyones genetics are very different. The second problem when looking at weight and arm size, is the amount of lard that is being carried. With all that being said, my weight is 208#'s at 5'10" and arms are 15.0". Since I have a lot of lard there is really a small person under this blanket.

I'm not too sure wether I measured it the same way everyone else has but I was flexing them pretty damn hard, lol. I have long arms and legs so it really isn't anything special.

Yeah same here. It's hard to build big arms when your wingspan is 6'11".

Would probably be bigger if I did direct bicep work (e.g, curls, etc.)
