    pain in the left arm, tricep area...how long should i rest

    defo hampering my workouts

    not soreness, defo a slight tear

    how long should i rest?

    If you believe that you have torn something then I would consult a medical professional.

    Most strains will heal in a couple of weeks as long as you are resting appropriately.

    It is important to eat a lot of quality food, maintain mobility, sleep, and ice if necessary.

    You can still train lower body and work on movements that do not involve that muscle group.

    If something hurts you definitely do not want to push it though.
