If you believe that you have torn something then I would consult a medical professional.
Most strains will heal in a couple of weeks as long as you are resting appropriately.
It is important to eat a lot of quality food, maintain mobility, sleep, and ice if necessary.

2 weeks no gym it is then
You can still train lower body and work on movements that do not involve that muscle group.
If something hurts you definitely do not want to push it though.
