Hello everyone. long time lurker, first time poster.
I started doing Starting Strength regularly about 2 months ago, and am quite happy with my results. I used to go to the gym and work out my chest for 14 sets, then bicep curls for 12 sets, and thought i was king. Im starting to realize that compound movements are a bit more...king.
My question is....do you think i can hit the "1000" club (400 deadlift, 355 squat, 245 bench) before the new year? Im really geeked to think i can hit this goal if my workouts are ALL-OUT and i eat like a horse.
For 3x5 my workout weight is: (not PRs...haven't had the balls to try those yet)
Deadlift - 270
Squat - 225
Bench - 150 ( )
I eat plenty, and workout on Mon, Wed, and Fri per SS recommendations...is this a reasonable goal? Thank you for your time.
P.S. my boner's are more effective now....i love squats.
