The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Me too, I was worried, but the weight is still moving, I don't worry much about it anymore. I'll reassess what's going on later if something changes.

I met a guy, has this fantastically amazingly equipped garage gym, I'm talking several heavy bags, several tires, about 10,000lbs of weights, kettlebells, push/pull sleds, it's crazy. One thing he didn't have is an atlas stone. Told him I'd trade him an atlas stone (I purchase concrete, make the mold, do all labor) if he'd give me a tire, drop the tire off and pick up the stone. He lives about 30 minutes away, so it worked out beautifully. I told him when I get my 240 lb mold I'll make him one of those, he said he'd give me a 700-800lb tire then too. This one is 450, easy to flip, but I think it's best to start lighter on something to get the feel of it. It's fun, seriously.

It's taxing, all over. Legs, butt, core, chest and arms all get worked, plus if you're going quick for reps, boom there's some cardio in there for ya! It's great stuff, I'm lovin it. Thanks for stopping by Coke, always a pleasure.

On to todays ordeal. I have labeled today...sleep day. I slept from 7AM until 6PM...11 hours, that's correct. I feel really really good, (who wouldn't?). Today was a rest day anyhow, tomorrow is squat, and I'm going to have to go back to back with dead lifts on Monday night, which shouldn't be too bad. I may do some light cardio on my lunch break, we'll see how things go.

Weigh In at 6:15PM..............................................313.4. Yessir! Bypassed my goal for this cycle, and still have 2.5 more days to go on it. Yup yup.

Training today wasn't good. 5 hours of sleep does not make for good squat days.

    -Back Squats-
    135 x 5
    225 x 5
    255 x 3 x 5

    -Front Squats-
    135 x 3 x 3

    -Leg Extensions-
    115 x 10 x 3

    -Leg Curls-
    140 x 10 x 3

    -Zercher Squats-
    135 x 1
    225 x 1
    315 x 1
    405 x 1
Just wanted to see how these went, never done them before. Have video of 315 and 405, will upload later. Felt really good, definitely could have done more than 405.

Hey man the squats look good to me. 405 Zercher Squat sounds scary! I wouldn't think it would be basically equal to your pulling status, but I've never done them before XD

You guys are all a part of my journey, so you did do something. Coming by here and encouraging me, pushing me, yeah, you helped me. Thanks for stopping by, hoping for sub 300 sometime at least mid July, goal was by December, I think I'll make that.

They were pretty good, not many issues really, just felt tired and sluggish. Zercher squats are pretty sweet, never done them much except when I thought front squats and zerchers were the same, lol. They're fun.

Really, I feel more sore if I'm not up and moving around more. When I do circuits, I stress long movements, getting a good stretch on everything that I can during the workout, reps are slow, more controlled, rarely pressed strictly for time. I think it helps keep me feeling better.
