Just some quick pics of the garage now. Nothing really new, just plates, tree, and got around to building the platform for the squat rack. Wasn't hard at all.

Played around with the slingshot this evening. Ended up with 275 x 1, and had more in me. Feels awesome, doesn't give ALL the support, but is definitely there. I think I'm really going to like it.

I'm always on the prowl on craigslist for plates, and by this time next year will be set with over 1000lbs of plates, no worries. I just want more 45's, so it's taking time to find someone just wanting to sell the 45's or 35's.

I haven't weighed the tire, but the guy I got it from looked it up in the tire book or whatever the hell they use at the shops to order tires out of, and said the weight of that tire was 550.

Haha, I got the idea from Tom here, but after using them, I don't like it. I used to use this tire in the back yard, and got tired of getting handfuls of grass every flip, but since I'm nearly done with the garage, I decided that from the interior wall of the garage to the alley is like 30 yards, it's a decent flipping distance, and I can keep the tire inside free of bird shit and rain. The boards are breaking off anyway, need to just go ahead and remove them, haha.

    This weeks plan:

    Saturday Morning after work=squat
Sunday Morning after work = conditioning or cardio...may dust off the atlas stone, do some complexes, if not I'll stay at work for cardio. Or I may do nothing.
Monday Morning after work = Bench
Tuesday Morning after work = Deadlift, if my buddy is back and ready to go I may end up doing conditioning Tuesday evening.
Wednesday evening = conditioning, tire flips, atlas stone, sledgehammer work, complexes.

Change of plans now. I forgot I signed up for overtime this weekend, so tonight I don't get off until 0600.
Likely no workout tonight after work.
saturday after work Squats May throw in some front squats and atlas stone stuff to supplement conditioning work.
    Sunday after work Bench
    Monday after Work Deadlift
Tuesday evening Conditioning...tire flips, atlas stone, barbell/dumbbell complexes. Should be a fun day.
    Wednesday Rest
Thursday session @ metroflex, family over that evening, maybe a PM workout as well.

When I bought it from the guy who was selling it on craigslist, it just came with it, and said he used to to roll it around on. I try to keep things movable in case I have to work on a vehicle in the garage. I do everything in or near the rack, so it's not like I'm moving it around for ease of access, it's just ease of room making.

I got news today that my uncle passed away this morning, really put a damper in my night. Was already feeling a little under the weather. It's been one hell of a year already.

Thanks guys, it was pretty expected, just not this soon I guess. After his wife passed away a few years back he went south pretty quick, wasn't all there. I lost contact with him after my Dad passed away in 04 basically. Tonight back in the gym. Thinking of doing my squat session, then doing my bench session to get it out of the way. Pretty confident I can handle it, just to get back caught up for my schedule.
