Weight is up a little bit, but not much, still sitting around 341-342. I've planned on just kind of not worrying about diet this week, eating sensible, and maintaining under 344 up until Friday, at which keto will start again. I think this may help with some whoosh effects. I also got pretty burnt yesterday at the water park, had a blast with the wife, making fun of women who shouldn't be wearing itty bitty bikinis let along a 2 piece, and having a good conversation about steroids, ha. I think the weight gain is from water retention due to the sunburn and should slip back down in a few days. Also went fishing last night, caught a few catfish, nothing worth writing home about, can't wait until we get a boat, hopefully by next summer or fall. Gotta see if I can get deadlifts in tonight, just gonna depend on how badly the sweat effects the burn on my shoulders and scalp.

I feel like complete dogshit today. I've got pressure in my head, just feeling all around lethargic today. Vacation this past week hasn't shown progress on the weight or lifting front, sucks. I don't know why it's so hard to stay on diet and on target while I'm at work, but a week off and I just piss in the wind.

    Deadlifts, sort of.

    225 x 5
    315 x 2
    405 x 2
    460 x 2

That's literally all I did. I didn't even do any stretching or warm ups, and 460 x 2 was slow as hell, I felt like my head was going to explode on the 2nd rep. Tomorrow is likely going to blow balls in the gym, we'll just have to see. Diet has sucked, workouts have sucked, hopefully things will be better next week.

sometimes you have to have sessions like this, no matter how bad you feel that it was at least you did something.

You did much better then I did! I kind of hate myself for not pushing through the lack of motivation. Really deadlifts hit some many muscle groups that is a good workout. Even if you didn't feel it was.

Good job at least doing something Mark. Great to hear you also had some good times outside lifting.

Will be interesting to see what keto does for you.

Thanks for the pick me ups guys, much appreciated.

bench today went pretty damn good actually.

    Warm ups
    bar x 6
    135 x 6 x 2 sets
    185 x 3
    225 x 1
    250 x 1
270 x 1 This is my current PR, and I freakin smoked it, it flew up. 90% of my goal right there, felt great.

Dead Bench-from belly to lock out.
    235 x 8 with 30 seconds rest in between

Dicks Press superset with scapular retractions
    30's x 15 ss with 110 x 15 4 sets

    Reverse Fly's
    25's x 10 x 3 sets

Entire workout was smoking, everything felt like, I needed a workout EXACTLY like this to get back in the groove. Hell yeah baby.

Thanks bro, feels damn good getting a 100% session in again. Damn good. Got all my meat cooked up, bison, chicken, beef, all ready to go for the work week, and all my workouts planned. I'm going to add a mile walk in at least 3 nights this weekend/next week, plus a 1.5 mile walk at least twice on my weekend with the wife. Good news on the weigh in front, last week after refeed I was 346.4, today I'm sitting just 1.4lbs up from that with clothes on, after eating a large meal, drinking a ton of water. So, I'm feeling good about weigh in tomorrow, and thinking that after a week of lax eating, I'm actually going to show a bit of a loss on the scale starting the keto phase. Feel real good about things again.

I'm completely ready for a 300 bench man, you've got the idea of how it feels with the 600+200 pulls. I can't wait. I feel it inching closer, I want it, and I'll get it.

Morning Weight:342.6 A huge plummit from yesterday, 6lbs. I woke up 3 times, and pissed for forever. I was seriously about to fall asleep pissing at one point. Feeling good, ready to hit some weights tonight. Will be squats, excited for it.

Boom huge session Mark, right back into the swing of things. Good to hear the diet is right back on track too, always a nice feeling of relief when the weight is in check after a week of lax dieting. Keep up the efforts man, 300 bench is right around the corner

Reading over at IM about high GI carbs, and not having an effect on the fat loss mechanism. It's pretty damn interesting to see 15 people take on the diet and taking in high gi carbs on days that are allowed, and still shredding fat. I've been taking in high(er) gi carbs every carb up, and still seeing a loss, however their diet is a little different than mine in the sense they don't stay in all the way to keto. My main goal for the next 2 weeks is to get down to low 330's, and then have a limit to the amount of carbs and overall calorie intake, as opposed to the last refeeds I've had where the sky is the limit, eating to the point of feeling 500lbs. There have been several changes to diet/supplementation this past week, and I'm nervous/anxious to see how it works and how it effects workouts/weigh ins. I don't think I ever did this much reading prepping for finals...damn.

I can't wait until I hit 300 on the bench, it's gonna be pretty damn awesome. It was a huge relief stepping on the scale this morning after the first morning piss and seeing 344, then 342 after the 3rd one. Now I'm only 6lbs away from my low this year and should see that within next week, then see a dip below that the following week. I really really feel my plan for the next refeed is going to produce some absolutely stellar results in a sense that I'm not going to just take in food until I can't lift the fork anymore. It's going to be a very structured refeed and going to really be watched and planned out.

Yea, I'm sure it is. It would still freak me out but it's all good.

That sounds like a great plan and I can't wait to see how it all works for you.
