Went to Great Wolf Lodge again this year like we did last year. This year, we took our meals with us, and instead of buying junk food both days, we stuck pretty closely to the plan. I googled wingstop wings, garlic parmesan, and saw it only had 6g carbs, but don't know how accurate that is. Also had a mighty good salad with grilled chicken strips. Everything else went really well. When I got back I was 333.6, that was an evening weigh in, so all was well.
    AM Weight: 331.6

    Bench Day
    Bar x 6
    Bar x 6
    135 x 6
    185 x 6
    205 x 2
    235 x 2
    250 x 2
The doubles all flew up, best feeling sets yet. Was awesome. I could have hit 4-5 reps at 250.

    Cambered Bar Bench
    Bar x 6
    135 x 6
    185 x 6
    190 x 6

    Decline Bench
    135 x 6
    185 x 6
    205 x 6
    225 x 6
    245 x 4

    DB Flys
    40's x 8 x 4 sets

    Reverse Fly's w/Scapular Retractions
    20's x 15 reverse flys w/110lbs x 15 scapular retrations 5 sets total

    Tate Press
    25's x 12
    30's x 12
    35's x 12
    40's x 12 x 2 sets

Was a great bench session, that's two in a row, feeling better and better about things regarding the bench.

At this rate, I'll meet m goal of a 3pps bench in August at the meet. Just gotta put my head down and push through. I really really want to push up 3pps at this meet. I know I'll pull at least 535, hopefully 545-555 in the meet, but I'm not worried about my deadlift.

Well, it's quite possible I've flipped my lid. I was feeling extremely great laying in bed, decided it was going to be a productive night and was going to get my squat on, it'd save me some time this weekend and would help with scheduling, why not.

    Bar x 10
    135 x 6
    225 x 4
    315 x 2
    365 x 1
    405 x 1
495 x fail Yes...fucking misloaded the bar. Bailed horribly. I was pissed, 405 felt great...why'd 445 feel so shitty? Oh...that's because I put 50lbs on the bar that weren't supposed to be there. Thank goodness my wife knows how to count.
    445 x 1 Fought it, slowly...really slow...sucked...but got it. +10lb PR.

Dead Start Squats with Elite FTS Long Strong Band. 58 inches of stretch=207lbs of tension at lockout.
    Bar x 1 x 2 sets
    135+207 x 1
    225+207 x 1
315+207 x 1 522lbs at lockout, felt good. Current PR. I used my new set up for bands and it worked flawlessly.

That was it for tonight. Decided to just get the main lifts out of the way and move on. Everything felt great, except 495...that sucked...ha.

It sucked. 495 just didn't feel right, I was going to attempt it again until my wife mentioned that the bar was heavier than what it should be. Thank God for wives.

Benching today wasn't anything what I wanted, and I figured the reason was diet.

    Bar x 10 x 2
    135 x 6 x 2
    185 x 6
    225 x 4 x 4 sets
    245 x 1 x 4 sets

    Nose Crushers
    Bar x 10
    95 x 8 x 2 sets

And that's all. I was planning on deadlifting today as well, but my body said nope, not happening bubba. I was shaking at the end of the workout, felt depleted and like a complete piece of shit. For the past 3-4 days, I've gone without dinner. I've eaten a large 800 calorie breakfast, and that was basically it. I haven't been getting my protein in, haven't been getting enough calories in at all for the past few days, I simply didn't have any energy at all to do anything. Really blew. I guess it's a lesson learned, I HAVE to eat no matter what, no matter what the day holds or how I really feel, I've got to eat. I did get some more protein, I'm really digging the High 5 protein blend from Max Muscle. I had orange last time, it was quite tasty, I recently picked up Cappuccino flavor and bloody hell it's amazingly scrumptious. I also picked up some egg whites that I can actually tolerate. Egg Whites International. There's no taste, mixes flawlessly in to my protein, is amazing. Is really going to help me get calories in on those tough days, it's so much easier to drink calories than have to eat them.

Amazing how much diet influences the ability to lift. Get that sorted and you will be away mate!
