    Bench
    Bar x A LOT
    Bar x 10, slowly
    135 x 6
    185 x 3 paused
    225 x 3 paused
    245 x 3 paused
265 x 3 paused Last rep was a grinder, elbows flared, bar pushed back to my head, but wasn't that slow. Feels good being able to push through it now.

225 x 10 reps touch and go. Hell yeah. My 1RM about 6 months ago, said FUCK YOU and blasted out 10 reps. Damn it feels mighty fine.

    Cambered Bar
    Bar x 6
    Add 3 board
    155 x 5
    195 x 5
    235 x 5 Solid and fast

    Cable Flys
    40 x 15
    50 x 15
    60 x 15
70 x 15 All reps felt good, pretty easy, good stretch.

    Tate Presses
    30's x 15
    35's x 15
    40's x 15 x 2 sets
50's x 15 Someone hijacked a damn 45, we only found one. Seriously? Brian Dobson was on a journey to find it after his workout, it was no where to be found. Who runs off with 3 45lb dumbbells and leaves 1? Asshats

    Reverse Flys
    25's x 12 x 2 sets Wide and slow, burn!

    Scapular Retractions
    120lbs x 15 x 4 sets

    PM Workout
So...went to the community center this evening to check things out. Pretty sweet place, they've got a nice little jogging track, tons of cardio equipment, 2 basketball courts, and a racquetball court, which is something I really wanna start screwing around with, getting to smash a little ball around while running back and forth, sounds awesome!

5 minutes peddling my ass off on a bike, RPM's were over 100 the entire time, did a mile and a half.

Leg Press, just for the hell of it to play with the machine.
    200lbs x 5
    300lbs x 5
    390lbs x 5

    Bench Press
    Bar x 10
    135 x 10
    185 x 5
    225 x 5

    JM Presses
    95 x 12 x 4 sets

    DB Front Raises
    40's x 5/arm x 3 sets

    Pinwheel Curls
    35's x 5/arm
    45's x 5/arm
    50's x 5/arm

    V Bar Chest Pulls
    150lbs x 40
    150lbs x 25

Played some basketball, worked up a good sweat. Had a good time.

What a shitty ass, half assed piece of shit workout.

    Squats
    Bar x some
    135 x 5
    225 x 5
    315 x 3
370 x 3 x 3 I fucking couldn't even get 5x5 here. I felt like on the 3rd rep I was in the hole thinking jee I hope I can finish this rep. Sent an email to Josh, can't keep having these shitty workouts on leg days, the 5x5/5x3 splits at these weights just aren't cutting it for me. Pisses me off and ruins me entire fucking night.

    Deficit Deadlifts
480 x 1 Yup, I shut it down. My lower back kills me pulling from a 3 inch deficit, and I can barely even get down to the damn bar. These too need to go, I need to focus on pulling from the floor and pulling hard. Deficits have done jack ass for me this past month.

Hack Squats-figured workout was botched anyway, might as well fuck around.
    135 x 5
    225 x 5
315 x 3 These are fun, interestingly enough.

    Single Leg DL's
    65's x 3 x 3 About the only thing I didn't struggle with tonight, how sad.

Leg Press-again, just screwing around now, trying to make something happen.
    3pps x 10 x 3 sets
    4pps x 6 x 3 sets

    Leg Curls
    100lbs x 10 x 2 sets

    Leg Extensions
    160 x 10 x 3 sets

Thought about cardio, but legs were smoked, at least I got SOMETHING done. Hopefully my trainer looks at my email and realizes this shit just isn't working and we come up with something different for next week, I can't keep failing at reps at these weights, I'm spinning my damn wheels and it ruins my workout, plus just royally pisses me the fuck off.

Disclaimer-I know these usually come at the beginning, I don't give a rats ass. I don't usually cuss this much, but I'm pissed this is the 3rd week in a row I've had a shitty ass leg session. Shit needs to change, weights or reps, whatever I don't care

That sucks bro. What is the problem? Is it too much weight for the required reps? Did you look back at your daily routine and see if you had enough sleep, diet on point, etc? Also, have you tried pulling from a smaller deficit? Sorry to be a pain, just trying to help out any way I can.

Overall things are looking great bro!!

I think SLDL off deficits for reps are very good but heavy pulls from deficit were not the builder I expected.

Keep at it youll nail it soon on the leg day no question!!

I think this is it, I do GREAT lowered reps, can do 2-3 reps with 405+, it's just in squatting my higher rep ranges have always blown. Did you look back at your daily routine and see if you had enough sleep, diet on point, etc? Slept a ton yesterday, diet was precise, scale reflects that, feeling great actually, until I squat and go to failure with 2 reps left in the set. Also, have you tried pulling from a smaller deficit? I've tried 480 from a 45lb plate, which would be 1.5 inches, was better, but not by much, still could only manage 3-4 repsSorry to be a pain, just trying to help out any way I can.
Response in Red. You're not being a pain, you posting in here definitely helps. I talked to Josh, he said we were going to run 5x5 and deficit deads up until we hit this point, which is where we're at, so things are changing. It always seems as if he always knows what's going to happen before it happens in my training, which is either really bad ass, and he definitely knows his stuff, or he's screwing with me, haha. He really does know his stuff when it comes to training. He said we'll notice an improvement off the ground by doing the deficits, and that my lower back has gotten stronger. All I feel in my lower back is pain.

I haven't noticed any difference, BUT, I haven't been pulling regularly to see if there IS a difference. Who knows, next week I may pull 535 with ease, and it all be because of the deficits we did every week last month. Just one of those things, have a wait and see.

AM Weight: 340.6 2lbs overnight, not too bad I don't guess. Was expecting more of a whoosh from no carbs yesterday. As long as I'm sitting pretty at 335 by Wednesday morning, all is well with me. I can do this.

Thanks a lot Joey. Definitely looking to get back in the gym and tear things up tonight with upper work. We're tweaking squat day for next week and each week after, so things will out quite well.

Definitely will let you guys know. I think, from what we discussed via email, it's going to be pulling from the floor and rack pulls, and squats being lighter weight lower volume, and upping the accessory lifts for a while, like my upper days have been and I've seen some great progress. I don't want to get back in to squat one day, deadlift one day and bench one day as my current split, squat/dl one day, triceps one day and biceps the other day is really working for me and leaves me pumped at the end of each workout. I'll keep you guys updated on the changes made for sure. Got a friends not-wedding party to go to Tuesday night and then the state fair Wednesday, should be good times.

Feeling kind of beat up after last nights session. The cardio left my legs and knees hurting. My right knee feels like I slept on it wrong or some damn thing, hurts pretty bad if I move it in a certain direction. I've been stretching it out here and there trying to get it to loosen up, hasn't worked all that well yet, but it's a bit better. Gonna take some anti inflamatories soon and see if that helps any.
