I was curious to what some of you gusy do on days off. Do you eat more, less? Stretch? Do cardio.
I was hoping to get some ideas.
I'll stretch my shoulders some on days off and this is usually when I find time to do cardio. Diet usually stays the same.
I usually just chill and relax, but I bought a foam roller so things might change. I'm gonna start using it alot and I need to start stretching more.

I like to use the foam roller and stretch. Im going to add a little cardio in also. Sometimes ill do a few 50 rep sets of pushups to get the blood flowing(I hate not doing anything), some pullups also. I tend to lower my carb intake on my days off.

I like the idea of doing pushups and also stretching the tissue a bit. Cut back on certain foods. More water as well.
i eat as much or more.... usually more... this is recovery time, also alot of lounging
I usually just sit on my arse or do some cardio. Though I do need to get a foam roller when money permits, if I go more than a week without deadlifting my upper back right around my spine gets painfully tight.

I get antsy and do some small recovery or extra assistance stuff like band pushdowns, reverse hypers, and abs.

I eat about the same, maybe lay off the carbs a bit.
I do a little band pressing, pulling and good-mornings on my days off to help recovery and cause I like doing it (I love band rows).
Small amount of cardio if I feel like it which I usually don't ha ha.

active recovery with a hot tub and a cold pool, foam roller, stretching.... one day a week I do the prowler and some kettlebell throws or light strongman training.... I treat it as recovery but it might not really be considered a day off???
I eat less because I practice nutrient timing. I eat 500 cals less in carbs on non weight training days. Also, on non weight training days I either do gpp or conditioning work.
