If you could be any athlete - it would be?

So who would you want to be past and present?

For me past would be Babe Ruth or Joe Montana.

    Present Adrian Peterson.

Adrian Peterson is sooo mentally focused that even if you did give me his tools, i wouldn't know how to use them. I'm gonna have to go with John Daly. That guy gets by completely on golf skill, and nothing else. i could put in a little work to make myself better.

Some crazy good male gymnast probably. It would just be so much fun to have all those crazy skills at your disposal.

    ain't nuttin but a peanut.

You will have gotten stronger when the weight that feels heavy is actually heavier than the weight that feels heavy now. Then the weight that feels heavy now will be a warmup for the weight that feels heavy then. But the weight will always feel heavy or you're not lifting enough weight. Clear? -Rippetoe

Green Bay Packers are the greatest franchise in professional sports....

And being Adrian Peterson would be pretty cool. That slow-mo commercial of him running is just scary. Just enough jackedness to still be strong as heck but still lightning fast and agile as a cat.

Taking into account all the things one would have to deal with at any given time, some of the names above would be rough. Babe Ruth, for example, was fat and underpaid and was treated like crap toward the end of his career.

Present would be Jeter, no question. Captain of the Yankees, king of NYC, girls, money. He has it all.

Past is tough, how far in the past? Does it have to be someone who is dead, or just retired? If it's just retired, I'd like to be Joe Greene. 4 superbowl rings, HOF, and one of the best D-linemen ever. Plus, you get to have the Nickname "Mean Joe Greene"

Usain Bolt, Anderson Silva, or Alexander Ovechkin.

Past would be Mario Lemieux, but Bobby Orr without the knee injury.
