Start a journal chief
I will start a journal, but I am going to see some other journals first to see exactly what I should write lol
Just to let you know I went nowhere before I started listening to the posters here. When I first started posting here I wanted to change SS, make it better, but you don't change something that works. I didn't follow the simple rules to getting bigger/stronger and I wasted a lot of effort for a long time.
I got to college this year, decided to keep a strict calorie count and follow SS EXACTLY and it has worked like a charm.
Well, I have had gains way before SS, but now I am not seeing much and it's probably cause my schedule isn't really at tune, and my calorie intake is ****ty, but I fixed that over the weeks. My best gain, and this has kept me going on bench, 120 to 200 in 2 months, that was so amazing for myself to do.
Well, be prepared for some serious gains.... and possibly sado-masochism.
sado-masochism? lol totally lost.
Well, I hope to make gains, but my problem is, I think 185 was too much to do 5 reps, then add 5 more on Friday. I mean, I am still sore, and it was a day ago, and I get creatine from my whey shakes, so I mean...I am going to lower it to like 165, and then go up from there. I am not sure what I should be doing on dead lift.
Sadomasochism= Deriving pleasure in self torture
Find a manageable weight, start there, dont look back.

Well, what happens if I add 5 pounds in the future, and it really is too much?
Seriously, read the Starting Strength Sticky and the Texas Method Sticky along with the videos. People have put alot of time into those and they are great sources. You can find them at the top of the thread list in the BB/WL section.
Well, I am going to turn around and see what I've gained in 6 weeks. I am pretty sure I will have gained a lot.
