Had a pretty decent training session today. Wasn't feeling it too much but once I got going on the axle deadlifts I started feeling more into it. I am ready to find a competition to train for. They don't have the complete schedule up for this year. I am planning on doing Nationals in the fall though.

I ended up taking it easy on the lifting today. We are training events tomorrow and Saturday so I wanted to be fairly fresh. Tomorrow should be log clean and press, axle deadlift and floor presses. Saturday will probably be outdoor events (weather permiting) and stones. I also did about 20 minutes worth of conditioning today. I did 4 different movements for a few sets to demo for some video I was filming. Ended up kicking my ass.

    Hang Snatch
    115/3
    120/3
    125/5

    Chin ups
    BW/40 total

    1.
    Barbell complex: 65 pounds
    RDL
    Hang clean
    Military
    Back squat
    Push press
    Bent row

10 reps each, rest 1m, repeat

    2.
    Ball slams 15s
    Rope slams 15s
    Rest 30s

    x 2

    3. KB Swings 20s work/10s rest x 6

    4. Barbell clean and press 2 reps every 30 seconds for 4 minutes.
