    Warm-ups

    Military Press
    Bar x 10
    85 x 5
    95 x 5
    115 x 5
    135 x 3
    155 x 3
175 x 5 - added belt & wrist wraps. Got lazy, didn't stay tight, struggled on last two reps.
    185 x 1
    195 x 1
    135 x 10 x 2
    135 x 12

Rope Triceps Pushdowns (supersetted with pull-ups)
    50 x 15 x 4

    Pull-ups
    BW x 8 x 2
    BW x 5 x 2 - biceps is feeling better!

    BOBR
    135 x 12 x 3 - gassed

    BW = 202

Camera died and I missed the 195 set. :furious:

Wasn't feeling 100% today. No PRs, but got some solid work done.

My pride and joy. My wife tracked it down and bought it for me from Williams Strength - a local company that makes commercial grade racks. The rack was a one-off where they tried to come up with a one-man mono-lift type device. We got it pretty cheap, relatively speaking.

That's pretty cool, do you use it for squats?

I want to, but I don't have safety racks for it. I'm hoping to pick some up for my birthday and then give squatting a shot. Even thinking about using it for bench.

They make the racks and a mono-lift, but I don't believe the make the combo I currently have. It is a one of a kind. However, they would probably put one together again. First we need to make sure it works for the squat. I can't wait to give it a shot. Maybe I'll throw 135 on there tomorrow and try it. Yep, that is a good idea!

Brian, I'm too short to make the 'one man monolift' work for squats. I tried it with the bar and hit the j-cups on the way up. Form was awful though.... I'll try again later.

    Warm-ups

    Squat
    Bar x 10
    175 x 5 - knee sleeves
    225 x 5
    275 x 3
    315 x 3 - belt
    355 x 3
    380 x 3 - knee wraps
    425 x 2 - briefs
225 x 7 - pain in right knee, shut it down

    Good Mornings
    135 x 10 x 3

    BW = 201

Long day. Squats were not where I wanted them. Form was off... way off. I carried the bar a bit too low making my upper body lean forward. Squatting was right at parallel to a hair high. I was not sitting back nor driving like I should have. I was being lazy.

Time to reset my weights lower, video some lifts, and get things back on track.

Warm-up - spent some extra time foam rolling. Feeling pretty beat up from squats.

    Bench
Bar x 20 - close grip (half thumb from smooth part of bar) & suicide grip
    120 x 5
    145 x 5
    175 x 5
    205 x 3
235 x 3 - regular grip (thumb from smooth); feels like I have much more pressing power.
    265 x 3 - added belt & wrist wraps; easy set
    275 x 2
    285 x 1 - PR; easy rep!
    225 x 9
    225 x 7
185 x 10 - shoulders, elbows, and left biceps ache. Shut it down here.

    BW = 202 lbs

Didn't eat much today. Pretty sore from yesterday. Left arm and shoulder are giving me some grief. Managed a very solid PR. Heaviest I've ever benched raw. Got my main sets done, got a PR, called it a night.

Thanks Brian. I'm really enjoying overhead presses - pure, raw strength. Not too complicated a lift - technique is pretty basic. I'm good at the simple stuff.

I was just getting into OHP before I hurt my knee. I like them alot as well. My goal was to do 315 by the end of the year, but that's been postponed, lol.

I don't workout in the morning. Driving to Florida after lunch, so now was the only time to hit it. Did pretty good. Hit a PR and I'm happy about that. Skipped squats this weekend. Don't want to be driving for 7 hours with sore legs.

Felt very unmotivated tonight. Didn't feel like doing anything but sit on the couch and drink beer.

    Warm-Ups

    SOHP
    Bar x 15
    85 x 5
    95 x 5
    115 x 5
    145 x 5
    165 x 3
    185 x 4 - added belt & wrist wraps
    195 x 2 - PR
    205 x 1 - PR
    135 x 18 - PR
    135 x 12 x 2

Rope Triceps Pushdowns (supersetted with pull-ups)
    50 x 15 x 4

    Pull-Ups
    BW x 10 x 2
    BW x 6 x 2

    BW = 202

Skipped BOBR. Have a slight tweak in my lower left back. Combine that with being worn out and there was a lot of risk with BOBR without much to gain. Played it very conservative tonight.
