Batman Band Inversion Work - 5 minutes of making bat-like screeches while upside down

    Squats
    135 x 2
    135 x 1
    135 x 4
135 x 8 - finally got my shoulders under the bar
    225 x 5
    315 x 3
365 x .25 - put on briefs for grins and giggles. No way I'm hitting depth with only 365
    365 x 2 x 4 - belt and knee sleeves; felt easy

Lunges - 25 lbs in each hand
    10 x 3 - holy crap these killed me!

    BW = 207

Squats felt good. I concentrated on setup and walkout. If I do it correctly, I can walk out in two steps. If I don't, it is three. Squats felt good for the first time in a very long time. Thought about initiating each rep as a hip hinge. By doing this, I broke at the hips, sat back, and hit depth with ease. Reps felt extremely easy.

I worked with a wider stance today. That combined with finally sitting back lit up my inner thighs, hamstrings, and glutes. Means I'm finally doing it right. Had to call it a little early because I'm going to be sore tomorrow.

I wish I could raw squat with a wide stance, my damn hips and groin can't take it anymore. It seems like I'm always moving my stance in because it's pain free, lol.

It is wide for me, which may not be all that wide in reality. And the weight I'm handling is a fraction of what you're putting on your back. Probably makes a huge difference!

I'll hit some pull ups and ab work tomorrow along with my conditioning. Missed about a month's worth of conditioning work due to my job and Barclay's illness. Been able to get back one day last week and two days this week. Don't really feel like posting that stuff. To me, its boring to do and boring to write it up.

Tried to squat today. Wanted to mess with my new SSB

    Squats - Speed
    75 x 10 - SSB
    165 x 8
    225 x 5
305 x 2 x 4 - That is all my back could take. Knew it would be tough squatting the day after deadliftng. Got some work, but will have to revisit the workout later this week. Really like the SSB. Will be using it for all squatting until after the bench meet.

It is an Elite FTS bar. One of the older ones with the welded ends, not the curved ones. Weighs 73 lbs and has barely been used. Thing is brand new practically. Got it for $160!

    Its Monday, National Bench Day!

No supplements, no PWO drink, no creatine, no BS.

Inverted Band Traction (pretended I was a sloth for 5 minutes; ended up sleeping for 2 hours)

Band Pull Aparts (supersetted with face pulls)
    Lights Bands x 20 x 3

    Face Pulls
    70 x 25 x 2
    60 x 25

    Band Prehab for Shoulders

    Bench - Rep
    Bar x 25 x 2 - feet up; competition grip
    95 x 10
    135 x 8
    185 x 5
    225 x 2
    275 x 3 - feet down
    290 x 5 - PR; belt and wraps
    290 x 7 - PR
    290 x 5
    315 x 1 - close grip
    315 x 2
    275 x 3 - competition grip; 1" from chest paused reps
    275 x 5

Side & Lateral Raises (giant set)
    5 x 10 x 3

Tweaked something in my abs doing rows Friday. Didn't feel up to squatting today, so I substituted bench. Bench felt strong. Left shoulder is sore, but its always been my problem delt.

Only had about 30 minutes today.

    AMT
    0.52 miles in 5 minutes

    Squats
    135 x 8 - knee sleeves
    225 x 3
    315 x 3 - wraps & belt
    365 x 1
    385 x 1
405 x 3 - done; squats felt very easy. Could have gotten 5 reps, but I did something to my ribs last week. Still hurts a bit.

Would like to have done a couple sets at 405, but didn't have the time. Pretty happy with a easy triple.
