The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Thanks guys!!

That tension is huge ha ha.......straight weight for 3 weeks and that shit gives you a suprise!

Lock-out was not great looking at the video but that type of work really builds strength big time so from a training point of view it was a good day.

Thanks Borracho!! I have a new technique which makes me stronger off the blocks but is not as fast.....still quick but my pure grip and rip super fast was only good until 600 or so..........I was pulling so fast that the bar would just rip out of my hands lol......now I still semi grip and rip but squeeze off the blocks using the air in my gut to get it moving.

    Gotta love 115lb sluts!

And yet another deadlift PR!!!! You never cease to amaze me my friend!!!

Your speed is very impressive. What is your all time best raw deadlift ever? I always see you doing the band work and suit work and all that, but what about raw deadlift from the floor (belt is fine). Just wondering.

I hope to one day achieve that level of strength!

Hmmm not sure about raw but I have done a 495 SLDL raw, maybe 545?

605 in the suit with very loose straps

I did a write up on why I do the block pulls a lot.....and the deficit variations.....not sure which page but long story short I recover from block pulls way faster and they are helping my overall strength a lot.

Sweet pulls and ab day Nick, solid work. I'm gonna work on making me some blocks over the next week or so to start some block pulls. I don't think I have anything else lying around that I could use.

Thanks BC.......it was a hard one cause my form was off so I was pleased to still hit a PR.

Thanks Mark.......you will love them, I would try to make 2,4 and 6" blocks.........nothing builds the back and deadlift grip like block pulls and if you add bands it is very hard on the hands at first.

    Upperbody work, semi deload

Rows with focus on mid traps-
    10
    8/8/8/8/8 drop set
    8/8/8/8/8 drop set

    Rows with focus on lats-
    10 close
    10 med
    10 wide

    Seated rows-
    15 slow

    Side raises-
    7 sets of 15

    Kettlebell rows-
    1 set of 15

    Hammer curls-
    1 set of 25

This is what I needed........no barbell in my hands or on my back...should be fresh for Friday.
