maybe try some lower back traction work with a reverse hyper setup and some band traction. Helped me when my lower back was fried.

Also, do Aussies reguarly eat kangaroo out there and if so, how does it compare to similar meats?

Glad to hear your feeling better. Question, what height do you think I should start at for deficit pulls, 2 inch or 3? Probably will add bands too.

Hey guys the lat is pretty well sorted.........Friday will be action Jackson!

Thanks B&T!! I have done everything to speed up recovery and it has been worth it........spent 2 hours per day doing various things to help it.
We don't eat Roo all that much by I have had it maybe 6 or 7 times, it tastes very good in stir fry!
It is not very soft like roast beef but its not rubbery like a crap rump steak over done, I like it and its cheap but a good steak is better lol.

Thanks BC!! If its sumo I would bring your stance in 1" each side closer than your comp stance, 2" deficit.
I would rotate these 4 movements for max effort as I have tested the crap out of many pulling movements and these work no question:

    1) 2" deficit pulls against plenty of tension raw
    2) 3" block pulls straight weight comp stance straps up
    3) Floor ultra wides against a little tension in briefs
    4) 6" block pulls straight weight comp stance straps up

Up to you bro but this will work.

Thanks Tank!! Feeling pretty good bro!

Thanks Borracho!! Test it out Friday!

Way to get in there and hit a PR while you rest the lat. That's why you continue to progress. It also makes Australian women swoon

Hell yeah canvas on the way! Look forward to see how it works for you. Im already thinking about one myself. Thanks for the advice bro. I knew you would be the one to ask. Im going to try the 2" raw work today, but my groin has been acting up a little, so if theres any pain ill just use powerpants for support. Theres really no carryover in them but enough support to kick the discomfort.

Thanks BC, yeah its the Overkill canvas with the front top 1/3 poly and the front of the straps poly......got it loosened up.
Side seams WILL NOT rip! It has nylon webbing running down the sides.
Yeah if I had powerpants id wear thme all the time bro good idea even on warm-ups.
Looking forward to seeing how you go...........plenty of band tension if you can....maybe leave 10lb in the tank so in 5 weeks you can go for a 20lb PR

Tank, I may just do a film review as the pics I took did not come out well...........I think its going to work well for pulling...I hope.

Heavy haulin day..............had to be a speed day where I work up as my lat is not 100%.

GOT HOME AND WATCHED VIDEOS AND FOUND I HAD LIFTED MUCH MORE THAN I THOUGHT YAY
Had a headache and was on auto pilot most of the workout

Speed/practice 6" blocks sumo against green bands (200lb tension at top)-
    135 x 4
    135 + bands x 1
    225 + bands x 1
    275 + bands x 1
    Add loose briefs
    315 + bands x 1
    365 + bands x 1 VIDEO
    405 + bands x 1 x 5 sets VIDEO
    455 + bands x 1
    495 + bands x 1 VIDEO
535 + bands x 1 VIDEO very easy PR.......the briefs don't help much from this height so my raw strength is up

    135 x 8 x 8 sets

    Rope hammers-
    90 x 10 x 2

    Back raises-
    23lb ball at chin x 40
    23lb ball at chin x 15
    23lb ball at chin x 15

Sore lat was not to keen on this but I told it to keep up.

Technique on pulls is getting good with-out sounding too cocky Rocky..........I will keep at it but its solid.......my style works best for geared pulls not raw.

Kept the rows light due to sore lat but I have been honest with myself.....my lats are too weak to pull the numbers the rest of my body is closing in on and nothing but rows will fix this quickly.

Happy to hit a good PR after pulling a muscle.

That's respect when you can make your body listen to you. We'll be seeing a lot of rows in short order.
