The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I love following your training bro. Some real good ideas to be taking from in here. Awesome work as usual. Sorry to hear about the stomach issue. Hopefully you bounce back quickly.

F***ing strong as hell as always!! Good work!

Do you frequently change up your squat stance? I've noticed that a lot of guys on here do that, but I never really did that before. Is that something that would help drive up your squat in general?

Hey, man. How are the abs doing? Are you sure it's just a strain/pull and not something more serious like a hernia?

    Thank you KGM!!

Thanks Brian, my plan now is- to have a speed lower and max lower as well as a shoulder and lat day.
Really love the speed pulls, that last speed day was awesome and felt like I did what I needed to except of course for the injury.

Thanks Bri, I do think it will help but I really just do it for fun and to mix it up.
Wider is aimed at building my geared squat a little more, closer will help your pull more.

Thanks Guido, no I don't think it's a hernia but my have done some damage to the attachment.
Will train light shoulders and lats Sunday, 2 weeks before any heavy lifting.
Really feeling positive that rest will fix it.

    Band pull throughs-
    Mini x 15 x3 wide stance

Kettle bell swings with-out the arm swing-
    25lb x30 x2 wide stance, slow

Just testing myself here really, hate not moving.

The pain is much more localized now right at the rib attachment on my right side.

You managed to do quite a bit more. That's a good sign you are healing. You'll be back on track soon enough.

Those Zydrunas press can get pretty hard the heavier you go, so just remember to keep everything tight.

Thank you very much John O, Phillip, Tank, Borracho and Coke!!

So far I am a big fan of the waxy maize with Scivation X-tend, I drink it during training with 1.5 litres of water with 30g pro before training 30g pro after.
This has put 2lbs on me in a matter of days, weighing myself on an empty stomach in the morning.

Hope to report some good things about it again when i have given it some time.

    Forced de-load lower

    Back raises-
    30
    25
    20
    15
    10
5 all sets with 5 sec hold at last rep

    Close stance G.M's-
    45 x15
    45 x15

    Hamstrings-
    80 x12
    100 x12

    Pull throughs rope cable-
    60 x10
    70 x10
    80 x10
    90 x10
    100 x10
    110 x10

    Band rows-
    Light x30

Kettlebell single deadlift standing on 3" mat-
    60 x12
    80 x12

The only movement here I could generate power on was the pull throughs, back raises etc had to be slow.

Feeling positive and happy to hit some lower back.

Forced de-load is a good way to describe things. You are still getting your muscles work. I think that will expedite the recovery process. Way to stay positive brother.
