Make sure you pull the suit all the way up in the crotch, I found it to be alot easier to get down to the bar.

Damn man, you have an incredibly high threshold for volume. I'd be whooped after the deads and maybe one more lift, let alone all the other crap you do afterwards!!! How long you been training for anyway?

Thank you very much Coke, did not think it was the most productive work-out but they can't all be I guess-the shrugs kept me happy lol.

    Thank you John!!

    Thank you Tank!!

Thanks Gatorman, I think it helps a lot with recovery- more than I expected.
Have not felt drained at all since using it but only used it 6 times so far.

    Thank you Barracho!!

Thanks Bri, I can lift till the cows come home on certain things like upperback but I stop when I feel it has been productive, the suit deadlifts were not all that heavy for me (maybe 80%).
I have been lifting seriously for 3 years but I'm brand new to shrugs and pretty new to deadlifts, I have always done some gym work to help me in other sports like weighted chins, squats and grip work for wrestling plus box jumps etc.
Also being a very active kid and always building stuff may have helped some, I was not an inside kid ha ha.

Got out the Captains of Crush Grippers!!

Only have the trainer, #1 and #1.5 my mate has my #2.

    Trainer x5 per hand
    #1 x3 per hand
    #1.5 x13 right 9 left
    #1 x5 per hand

Left hand was hard work as I seemed to be hitting a nerve in the palm.

Bit of fun, Tank got me thinking of the grippers.............

It's just something I played around with. Now, I will say that when you leave a gap between the suit and your crotch you will get alot more pop off the floor. So if that's what you are looking for then I guess you can practice getting down to the bar with the suit set up like that.

I had around 1" maybe a little more that I could have seated more.

I try out what you have said, look forward to getting the hang of it but I know it's going to take time.

That is an awesome suit! I agree with Brian, pull those legs up as high as possible. You can always jack the straps later.

Nick, the reason I was asking is because I can't get down to the bar with a 4" belt in full gear. I can do it all day long if i'm pulling raw. But if i'm in full gear, I need my bench belt. That's something you might want to consider trying.

Just try it and see how you like it. You might feel a little weird using it, but it just might help some.

Like Rich said, your form raw is going to be different in gear. Try getting one big breath and just dive bomb down to the bar and grip & rip, like Ano and Rich do.

Did you sit the suit all the way in the crotch?
