    Solid work, Nick. Underhand or overhand grip with the rows?

    Good to hear about the weight gain. Rep block (rack) pulls used to leave me exhausted for a week.

    Thanks Coke, Hayden, Tom, Luna and Borracho!!!!!

    Tom I do them overhand but actually think underhand is better for building size.

    Haulin Steel...............good day.

    Today I put belt on early, suit on late for a change and really liked it a lot.

    7.5" blocks-
    Floor 145 x 5
    Blocks 235 x 2
    Add belt
    325 x 1
    415 x 1
    505 x 1
    595 x 1
    Add suit
    645 x 5 big PR.......left some in the tank

    1.25" deficit straps down speed pulls-
    345 x 3 x 3 sets nice and explosive

    Pulldowns 3 x 12
    Rear delts 3 x 12
    Face pulls 3 x 12
    All in one giant set no rest

    No memory card in my camera today.

    Bar was damp but still found the 5 reps ok wich is a solid 30lb PR.

    Tip of the day- Add some volume to your pulls, take some away from the assistance work for a while and watch the numbers go up.

    Why? I think underhand is more dangerous to tear a bicep when you actually do rows heavy. So it would make sense to me to go heavier overhand and therefore build more size from using heavier weight.

    Nice job on the deadlift pr. When are you planning to pull something heavy from the floor?

    IMO,

    Underhand=bodybuilder
    Overhand=powerlifter

    Like April said, going heavy with an underhand grip can lead to a bicep tear. I've done them with both grips and I like both but for different reasons. Yes, both will add size, but I feel that the overhand will had the strength.

    Hey guys been away camping the last 3 days......fuck it was good.

    We had Wallabies, Goanna's, Lizard's, Bird's, Spiders, Bush Turkey's, Snakes etc all as friends (if your careful).

    Toilet was the old style in the ground out back and had to be checked before using for Lizard's and Snakes.

    Ate well and found some AMAZING views from hanging rocks and look-out areas all with-in 1 hours bush trecking.

    Photos to come.

    Thanks for the comments guys!!

    For the rows what I said was I do overhand but for size I would do underhand, that still stands.

    Sets of 6-12 underhand would IMO build size in the back a little better.......side note I do not row big weights and I do not have a huge back I just have an opinion based on what I have done and seen and read.

    Thanks all, love the input!!!!!
