Thank you very much everyone!!!!! Was a good day and very fun.

Building vs testing type day for the deadlift..........lowerback was still sore from the other day so this smashed me pretty good.

Concentric G.Ms against 200lb bands (from belly buttom height)-
    45 + 200 x 5
    95 + 200 x 5
    135 + 200 x 5
    185 + 200 x 5
    205 + 200 x 5
    135 + 200 x 10

    Glute bridges-
    3 sets of 12

    Heavy abs-
    20
    15
    15

Seated hammer type row (very cool set-up)-
    2 sets of 20

    Pulldowns-
    120 x 12 close
    120 x 12 med
    120 x 12 wide
    120 x 12 ultra wide

The band tension concentrics were fun but hard.

Lowerback is pumped bad, really cool day.

    Deadlift assistance day.

GMs against choked greens and monsters-
    135 x 3
    135 + 130 x 3
    135 + 200 x 3
    185 + 200 x 3
    205 + 200 x 3
    225 + 200 x 1
    275 + 200 x 1
    295 + 200 x 1
    135 + 200 x 12
    135 x 12

    Heavy abs-
    4 sets of 12

    Seated hammer rows-
3 sets of 15 slightly different grips

    Wide pulldowns-
    100 x 10 super slow reps

    Side bends kettlebell-
    58lb x 20 per side

Happy with my form on the GMs, the added upperback strength shows on this movement...making my form much tighter.

Did not really strain much today in prep for my deadlifts in a few days.

How does the banding work with GMs? Gets lighter towards the bottom and heavier on the way up?

Yeah bro, like sqautting against bands.

Harder on the muscles of the upper back cause the bands try to fold your upper back down, harder on the way down as they send you down fast and you have to stop them sending you right down, harder as you come up ha ha.

Still, regular weight is great too

Need to get me some bands at some point, sounds like it's a great way of changing up the exercises a bit, but not sure whether I'm at the point yet where it'd do me any good.

I bet the bands try and slam you forward on the GMs, have never tried them, must be a killer on the low back to keep that form strict! Nice work, always mixing it up with great movements
