Awesome on the COC #2.5! You need to get the #3 and start your assault on that monster.

    Thanks guys!!!!!

Looking at some some more grippers.

The GHP level 6 is meant to be around 15lb easier than the C.O.C #3 so that is what I may get plus something else.

    Any tips?

I've never tried the GHP grippers but have heard great stuff about them. Have you ever done choker closes? I have a hose clamp on an extra #2 (which I normally get 3-5 reps with). Toward the end of my gripper sessions, I typically get in 5 singles with the choked #2. These are a little awkward at first because your hand position will slightly change with the choker on. You can set the choker anywhere you need the extra work. I have it right at parallel. And to close this thing, you have to explode! It's a really different movement without the initial portion of the close or momentum.

    Squat work.

    135 x 5
    185 x 5
    225 x 5
    275 x 5
    315 x 5
    365 x 5
    405 x 5

    Leg extensions-
    4 sets of 12

    Grippers-
    T X 2
    1.5 X 2
    2.5 X 2 X 5 sets, Left 2.5 negative hold X 5 sets
1.5 X 25 sec over crush each hand
    T X 25 reps each hand
    1.5 X 7 X 2 sets each hand

HANDS LOOKED DEFORMED AT THIS POINT

Wrist roll up 2.5" thick bar-
    1 set

No PR's with the grippers, was weaker than 2 days ago but Im just trying to build toughness in the hands with plenty of work.

Fresh I should get 4 reps.

Thank you very much guys, great mates!!!!!

Hayden, no ryhme or reason right now but plenty of sweat. Just pushing my hands to with-stand a lot of work.......I think hands respond well to high volume but not if they are not tough enough.
Pumped to see ya soon brother!!

    Grippers low volume-
    T X 3
    1 X 3
    1.5 x 6
    2.5 x 3 Right, 1.5 x 20 Left PR

EDIT: I have a Vulcan V2 in the mail......saves buying so many grippers.

Goes from easy all the way to past the Captains #4 plus you can hit pinch and finger tip work.

Hey guys! Yeah it only makes sence. Means you have like 25 grippers. I also like the thumb, finger tip plates a lot.

I was going to buy a few and then thought hey the pros like it so why not get it and save in the end.

I got it on ebay for $170. Bit of a rip off but the guy posts same day so ill have it very soon.

This grip stuff is adicitive and rewarding, i am going to work up to the 3 hopefully with-in 8-12 months.

    No limits.

All the grip stuff looks like fun, mate. Going at it flat out! That was some solid squatting thrown in there too though.

Thanks brother and BTW I love your profile pic!!

Testing where to hold the gripper......my palm is large, fingers a little short so I set the gripper back about 5-10mm.......worked well and makes a much stronger position.

    Captains-
    T X 2
    1 x 6
    1.5 x 6 Left, 2.5 X 2 Right
    1.5 X 21 Left PR, 2.5 X 2 Right (very close to 4)
    2.5 Left 2.5mm off.....PR

Hands are smashed but still same able to do the work, my fingers are starting to get very hard.

Cheers dude. Black and white makes things look better lol

Just wondering, why do you soak your hands in hot water afterwards?

I soak them in hot water to help the healing, it seems to work very well.

I stretch them and rub them as well while soaking.
