Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Thank you very much everyone, I really appreciate it!!

    Thanks Coke!!

    Deadlift 2" deficit close sumo-
    135 x 2
    225 x 2
    315 x 2
    365 x 2
    405 x 2
    455 x 2
    495 x 2
    505 x 2

Just hit my target and shut it down, pretty good

    Back raises-
    64lb kettlebell 3 sets of 10

    Grip

Right- worked up to #3 x 1 with 10 sec hold closed, BB Elite (fair bit harder the a #3) x 6mm off close PR 3 sets

Left- worked up to vulcan level 9 x 19 PR, 12 x 1 with 15 sec hold closed PR

Need to forget the rep goals for the #3 ie: 5 reps, 6 reps, 7reps etc if I want to hit the #3.5.........plenty of attempts on the elite and 3.5 is the path forward.

    Peace.

Nice! I've been thinking about incorporating more bands/chains and deficits (sumo dl) into my routine, and will be doing my first go-around with deficit sumos this week. Strong stuff!

    Thanks!!

I like deficit sumos, i have a PR on 2" deficits ultra wide...comp and close stance. 4" deficits close stance help too.

Good luck im sure they will pay off pretty quick.

BTW i think semi reset or full reset reps are best for deficit work at least most of the time.

    Thanks Coke and Tom!!!!!

One thing I have noticed with-out a doubt is high volume is needed on the grippers......over the course of a month you should have done a ton of work.
When I back off and just do 3-5 work sets each session the progress pretty much stops.

Loving training again, shoulders feeling good.

    Gripper day

    Right hand captains of crush-
    T x 9
    #1 x 3
    #1.5 x 3
    #2 x 3
    #2.5 x 1
#3 x 9 big PR!!......all closed hard, small reps btw so dont think they are full rom
#3 credit card close x miss
#3 credit card close x 4mm from close
#3 x 4 with 10 sec overcrush on last rep
    #2.5 credit card close x 1
    #2 x 3 x 4 sets of speed reps.....fast

    Left hand vulcan-
    Level 3 x 12
    4 x 5
    6 x 3
    7 x 3
    9 x 3
    10 x 1
    11 x 1
    12 x 4 equal PR
    7 x 54 PR
    6 x 10 x 3 sets full rom

I use the vulcan for the left because it does not twist in the hand like the CoC grippers do.

Good day, more work to do.

Sick work! I just bought my first #3 - haven't opened it yet, but I'm betting the handles don't move much. 9 reps is awesome at any distance. Definitely motivating me to hit the grippers harder!
