Thanks for the great comments!!!!! I was sure I had more in me, just needed to lock in the right form-endless pursuit of perfect form.

    Mixed day, nothing impressive.

    Deficit 4" sumo-
DOH no chalk, no belt, no shoes, no super suit just animal raw power
    95 x8
    135 x6
    185 x5
    205 x3
    225 x3
    275 x3
    315 x3
    365 x3
    205 x5
Just working form more than anything but still fairly hard as my lower back and hips are sore

    Seated close grip shoulder press-
    45 x10
    135 x10
    135 x10
Shoulder is still not right, this was enough for now

    Seated kettlebell shrugs-
    26s x15
    70s x25
    70s x25
    All done slow

    Barbell shrugs-
    45 x20
    45 x20
    45 x20
    Superset with
    Band face pulls-
    15
    15
    15

    Hammer curls-
    25 x10
    35 x17/ 30 x6/ 25 x6 drop set
    All done strict as possible

    Calve raises-
    40
    20

Pissed at my shoulder but what can you do, at least its ok to squat.

Off to sleep, getting up at 4:30 AM will check out all your logs on Monday........look forward to seeing some PRs etc.

You have a good grasp of the big picture in the way you go about your training Nick. Good job working so consistently on all the little things.

Thank you very much everyone!! Holiday up the Coast was great, had about 20 gatorades and some salt and was up to 220 on Sunday.

Bodyweight tonight 217 same old lol.

    Sumo pulls off 4" blocks-
    225 x3
    315 x2
    415 x1
    Add briefs and loose belt
    495 x2
    495 x2
    505 x2
    Add tighter belt
585 x2 PR left one in the tank (was not expecting it to be as easy)
    615 PR
    505 x3+2

    Hex shrugs seated-
    20s x50
    20s x20
    20s x30
These are mainly for the fingers and hands but work the traps too

    SLDL 4" deficit
    95 x10
    For a stretch

    Sumo 4" deficit
    95 x10
    95 x10
These are helping my form more than any other movement and the stretch is needed for my hips

Happy with the PRs but my goals have changed, 600 is now no good to me personally I want A LOT more

Isnt that always the way. Especially when you eventually hit a goal. The satisfaction has worn off by the time you are walking out the doors and you are already tee-ing up the next weight in your head.

Great session hitting those PRs Nick. Especially with how often you are pulling!!

Awesome work Nick! And I agree with Matt, if 600 is no longer the goal, go for triple bodyweight!

I remember a few weeks ago you were talking about high 600's being super far away. I told you it would be sooner than you think. You've definitely hit a groove with the deadlift training.

You guessed it Sumo day.............Squats come naturally to me, deads not so much plus sumo is building my squat anyway.

Sumo off 4" blocks- (I like the blocks as they are slightly less technical and you don't really get anything much out of the briefs from this height)
    135 x3
    225 x1
    315 x1
    405 x1
    Add briefs and belt
    495 x5
    495 x5
    495 x5

    CSR-
    ???? x8
    ???? x8

    Rope rows-
    70 x8
    90 x8

    Triangle bar pulldowns-
    120 x8
    160 x8

    Single arm cable rows-
    ???? x8
    ???? x8

    Lats done at fast pace.

Sumo form was the best its ever been, shoulders behind bar, head up- SMOOTH PULLS.

Messy shins are manly! It's awesome the way you've consistently attacked that lift and are making it a strength.

    Thanks Gatorman and John!!

Now that my form is better I can really work the reps to build a foundation, will still do max effort and speed work of course but reps are going to get hit hard for a while.
