Thanks Gatorman!! It is more of a one off as its a 11 hour drive but you can get cheap flights these days so I may go once a year every November or even twice a year in the future as its a nice place to visit anyway............GF loves Melbourne for all the shopping and Cafes.
The Melbourne Cup (Horse race) once a year is HUGE and full of Ladies drinking............if you cant meet a girl there you have something wrong with you!

Thanks John Im pretty excited as you can imagine..............good times, I will film and take pics bro!!

Yeah they have more stuff like strong man stones, kettlebells etc.

My goal is to out lift this gym while all the while training at a very spartan gym.....in the future (long way to go)........that will make me proud!!

That gym sounds like the ticket. You'll be wanting to move there!! Enjoy mate!

    Thanks John!!

I was sure I would improve once I looked in a style of pulling that suited me but it is going better than I expected.

Appreciate all the support bro you have my word.

Seriously impressive lifting, that's just a lot of freakin' reps with a lot of weight! That's awesome that you've gotten your form down so fast, nothing more important. Question - can you explain what you mean by work your fingers? I may be way off, but I'm guessing you mean develop the strength to hold the bar in your fingers and not your palm? Excellent pulling Nick!

    Thanks Steve!!

Yeah I have found working the fingers and thumb to really help, forearm work did nothing for my deadlift but did help my bench.

Hex holds and hex shrugs kick ass for the fingers as well as shrugs pinching a plate each hand.

For the thumbs I like thick bar lat work and hex work.

These movements along with pulling against bands helped me WAY more than grippers or forearm curls.

Now even if my left hand starts rubbing on my leg on the reps it still won't open.

Excellent suggestions, I'm going to start using the holds and plate pinching.... Static holds with the fat grips helped me a lot, but I'm still not there yet. I have that exact problem, when I get up around 550, if my hand rubs against my leg, my grip breaks open like a wet paper towel. lol Good stuff!

Great work Nick! I know what you mean with working the fingers. I've occasionally done something similar, where I'll do deadlifts holding the bar in my fingertips. It's a lot harder holding onto it that way. I can't wait to see you hit 600+ with the sumos!
