Nice, um 'deload' Nick! Strong stiffies!!

Good rant. I agree. There are so many people these days who think everything is owed to them. They are soft as f**k too.
This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being thoroughly worn out before you are thrown on the scrap heap; the being a force of Nature instead of a feverish selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy - George Bernard Shaw

It's the skinny jeans, fellas. Girls say they like them... But guess what? They're lying. They don't want their cute little guys to feel bad about how weak and pathetic looking they are. So they tell them they like the jeans.

I've done scientific research, and 9 out of every 10 females prefers a male who weighs more than them.

Couldn't agree more with the rant. Hit the iron. Get after it. Get big. Get strong. GET SOME!

I need to give the sumos/ultra wides a go for a while. I know my hips are a weak link and I've been the ostrich with its head in the sand. At the very least it'll help with flexibility which I dont have in that plane.

Super impressive SLDLs dude! Bet ya felt like a million bucks after that session!

Thanks Justin, Kosh, Borracho, Kiff and Tank!!!!!

It not being a sissy so much that pisses me off its the way its become a trend, it is seen now as some sort of joke to be hard......being soft and femanine is popular.
Hard men fought and died for my country and yours so that we may live, a lot of girls and these nancy boys make fun of so called macho guys like they are a stupid breed or something but Ill tell you what if we never won our wars we would all be dead and our women raped........would they be wishing men were not macho then......NO WAY.

    Last nights Ultra wide PR.

Lats were extremely sore going into this and still are.

Ultra wide raw sumo off 4" blocks-
    135 x2
    225 x1
    315 x1
    405 x1
    455 x1
    Add chalk and belt
    495 x1 PR
    545 x1 PR
    565 x1 PR
    405 x1
    All sets smooth and fast

    Pullthroughs-
    100 x12

    Swiss ball abs-
    15

Short and sweet, did not want to shoulder press as it has be playing up.

That last 565 set hit my hips/glutes harder than and single I have ever done!

    Ultra wides kick ass!

can't beat PR-ing the same lift 3 times in one session, especially when there a 70lb difference between the first and last PR!

Ha ha yeah it was good!!

I remember a short time ago 405 seemed big in the ultra wides.....now I can do around 505 from floor maybe a little more.

Pretty sure the ab and lowerback work is paying off there.

    Nick,

Really man, it's time you start putting some weight on the bar. I've seen girls pull 565 from a 4" deficit before. I've also seen them to it blindfolded and behind their back. Talk about being a macho man! Hah! Wuss!

Great work man. That's a huge freakin' pull.

Your a PR machine bro, most impressive!

I could not agree with you more on your "rant". I feel like puking sometimes when I take a look at how "men" these days dress, act, and treat life. Its pathetic to say the least. Were in a world today catering to pusses. Everyone thinks they deserve all for nothing. Just pure laziness. Sometimes I wish I could go back to the Golden age in the 40s and see how real men lived. Where real hard work got you what you wanted. We live in 2 different countries, but our thoughts and Patriotism is the same. God forbid if half these silverspoon fed idiots actually had to do something in life. Your a strongwilled man Nick, and I commend you for your hardwork and dedication. You just dont find that much anymore. Its just a shame we live on opposite sides of the planet.
