Thanks guys it was amazing but I just cant explain how out of this world it was, I have done hang gliding where I had to run off a snow capped mountain in NZ and that does not even compare at all to the crazyness of the Warbird.

Felt like I was in a video game visually.

    Will never forget it.

    Speed lower day.

    Raw free squat-
    135 x4
    225 x4
    275 x4
    315 x4

    Swiss ball abs super set-
    4 x12

Speed pulls raw against two sets singled minis (I have these at 90lb)
    1.25" deficit
    135 x2
    Mixed grip, no chalk
    225 x2
    275 x2
    275 x2
    275 x2
    Floor
    275 x2
    275 x2
    275 x2
    275 x2 VIDEO
    275 x2

    SLDL against bands DOH-
    185 x6
    185 x6

    Back raises-
    23lb ball x15

    Wide pullthroughs-
    70 x12

    Bell swings-
    80lb x12

    Close pullthroughs-
    70 x12

My speed pulls I worked very hard at using both legs and back to pull, not just trying to squat or to stiff leg it.

This was a fun day for me where I did all the stuff I enjoy but it kicked my tail, legs ass and lower back is sore ha ha.

    Thanks guys!!

Was fun to do some light speed work, usually I like to work up but this was great........doubles are done with 5-8 sec between reps for a full re-set.

SLDL is treating me well, sometimes I go heavy on them other times just get some work in like today...both methods seem to help.

    Thanks Steve and B & T!!

The headphones are too big for gym lol but ****ing kick ass...........so much better than the little in ear iphone ones.

Shure 440s........the have awesome reviews and I compared them in shop to about 15 others from $80-400 and they were the best and only $130.

I use 70s for 2 sets singled minis and 100s for 1 set singled purples.

For average bands singled you need more.

The plates on the ground are key, you need 35s or 45s depending.

I have gotten pretty quick at setting them up now, takes 5 mins and is well worth it IMO positive bands are better than reverse bands.

Minis singled and spread apart like you see in vids = approx 22lb each band (2 sets= approx 90lb)

Monsters each singled band = approx 30lb

Purples = approx 55lb each band

Greens = approx 100 each band

    Thought this may help

I've actually ditched wearing and buying cheap earpiece headphones since every time at a meet or in a gym I'm blasting music and I have to lift and kind of take them off, they tear apart. They're also like 10 cents worth of plastic too. Between the bands and headphones, I bet you get lots of weird looks from the normal gym goers. Studies have shown though the more weird looks you get and the stronger you get, it's more probable you're doing things right

    Thanks Kiff and B & T!!!!!

Yep plenty of weird looks and questions.....some people laugh during my warmups perhaps because of the pink bands, once I work up they quit laughing ha ha.

Had a dickhead with tatts (nothing at all against tatts of course) thinking he was cool the other day leaning on the sleeve of my barbell inbetween my squat sets, I was actually very angry about it but did not say anything...next time I will.

Love listening to music while training and the gym plays crap 95% of the time.

    Bodyweight is 217.

Back and hammys are tender so thats cool, I am very unhappy with my deadlift now knowing I can only pull 700 from blocks, 600 from floor.
I want to pull 900 from blocks and 750from floor, you may not understand but I am obsessed with having a big pull and seeing people pull 800 all the time makes me very jealous!

Nick you will get 900lbs mate stay calm, stay focused. Laser in on it as you have. Everyone here is aware your deadlift is huge, it is only a matter of time.

Use those guys pulling 800 and 900 as motivation. The harder the journey the sweeter the accomplishment. Nice job on the speed pulls!
