    meet write up.
    may have bloated up alittle too much. warmsup on squat didn't hav the usual pop.
    opener 865 2 whites and red moved ok
    2nd 905 no lift got maybe half way up and nothing may have decended too slow
    3rd 905 again nothing (really upset but had bench and needed to stay positive)

    bench warmups felt better
    opener 705 almost dumped in hole but recovered and 3 whites
    2nd 740 went much better stayed in groove 3 whites
    3rd 780 again stayed in groove and suprised myself 3 whites
    now that was apa record and i was extremely happy. crew wanted me to take 800 after few minutes i agreed.
    4th 805 popped off chest pretty good then ran out of gas about 3 or 4 brd height and the right side clip fell off great save by spotters and especially Ty stuck his belly up against plates.

    deads
    alright my dead is lame but needed something half decent for total
    opener 620 played it save hands were swolle easy though 3 whites
    2nd 655 this would give me a 2300 my goal for meet again ok lift let it out in front of me alittle in beginning but good lift 3 white
    3rd 675 nothing to loose less intense than 2nd attempt hands were worse. had to wrap wrists i got it over knees as usual but it feel out of hands and really hand nothing. no lift

    2300 total.
    special thanks to iron sport team for all help and support. to crew (bri c, drew patrizzi, ty gott, john rock) appreciate you guys. big thanks to mike ski (my powerlifting dad) this man inspires and motivates me soo much. 54 yr old and totaled 1915 unreal! finally Big Tone my main partner and best bud thank you for all you have taught me, believing in me, and pushing me. It's ur turn next.

    I went home later that night only to realize my staff infection is back in my leg with super rage.had fever of 103. started taking meds tuesday and today feeling alittle better. i plan to get back in gym on thursday. Then i'm away for 8 days in las vegas with family. may be able to sneak in training a day or 2.

    After some thought and talking with the crew i plan on doing another bench only meet some time either mid may or early june. To see if I can hit an 8+. I still can't believe that is within range, I owe alot of that to big Tone, he has really helped me to dial in my form. It may not be the prettest but it is working.

    upper access night speed bench w/ dbl mons minis 230x3x6(s)......... close grip inc 315x3x5(s) + 345x3... tri pushdowns 3x10..... close grip lat pulldowns 3x10...... crucifixes (a side laterial with twist) 3x10........ curls(shhhhh! on down low) 2x10.... very good training night. weight back to a comfortable 251. sorry for mess had to do by phone!

    ok wedsnight on vacation, my body is on vaca but my mind can't stop thinking about training. staph infection is pretty cleared up, have alittle soreness in right knee. but all i can think about now is monday bench nite. i'll have 5 training nites to get my work in. i will get that 810 bench first weekend of june. i plan on opening with 765 or so and jumping right to it. just need a few heavy brd nights to get use to weight and feel it in my hands(build confidence). seeing the crews logs is driving me nuts. i should be there too!

    upper access day(from hell)..... speed bench with dbl monsters (barx5 / 140x3 / 230x3x4(s) / 250x3x2(s) ...... floor presses 295x3 / 315x3x4(s) these hurt my shoulders bad ........... lat pulldowns 220x10x3....... inc shoulder laterials 20x10x3..... tri pushdowns 2x15.... hammer curl(preacher bench) 2x15. alot more volume then used too. very sore shoulders right now. will ice and roll them later! sorry for mess wrote this from phone.
