    hey Hopp, i pulled it conv. since i put gear back on it has really dropped back down. i guess the heavier weights are beating my cns up worse than i thought. so now i was playing around with a few things. may try sumo next few weeks but with briefs and canvas suit on. dead has me back in panic mode. all of the sumo pulls felt great until the 615. with the 615 i'm searching for the last bit of the pull. the transition part from over knee to lockout. i will mess with sumo for 3 more weeks to see how it goes. then if not happy will switch back to conv. I'm hoping other 2 lifts go well at meet and I can hit total i want with opener on dead.

    yeah Keenan they're the worst, but they're very important part of sport. lower access day........speed squats barx 8, 135x5, 225x3, 315x2x8s 15-20second rest between sets/ leg ext 3x15/ leg curls 2x25 l back ext mach 2x25.

    long story short..... squatted 905 maybe 1in high, and 2 misses at 945. no excuses. not happy. no knee wraps. done with pulling sumo also. so back to conv. pulls next week. will be doing rev bands next few weeks over 9 to get use to weight and pressure in the whole.

    nah hopp saturday was a bad day and monday was no better. and was way more painful. bench nite..... barx5, 135x5, 225x5, 315x5, 405 x2 475x2 2brd / --shirt on-- 585x3 (3brd) / 675x2 (2brd) / 765 x 1 (1brd) dumped it but still got it / 805 x0 (1brd) let elbows get loose at brd and lost it. that was it. elbow tenditious was killing all the way from shoulder to fingers. iced the hell out of it, ibrup, and some old man cream, feels some what better today. looks like i will be limping into this meet nov 5th. have alot of little nagging pains and my head isn't into this 100% yet or something!

    ok. 2 days later and elbow is feeling better. not even close to 100 % but with proper rehab and rest i should be well enough to compete to my standard this meet. i'm at point in training cycle were i back my days down from 4 to 3 and will continue with that. saturday and monday will stay the same, though with 5 weeks of training i may only be able to shirt up once more. thursday will be all the re and prehab stuff plus some light bb stuff. i have had a good training cycle up to this past week and will not get side tracked from my goals. i have thoughts for after this meet but need more time to think about those. weight is still 253 every morning

    hey Keenan, thanks i'll be fine still doing meet. i'm so close to my original powerlifting goal. ......... my very first meet i competed raw back in oct of 08. Well that day i saw training partner Jon Rock hit 10x btw. I was very impressed and that day i made that my goal. With the way training was going this cycle i thought this could be that meet. not giving up on that yet, but my bench is where i make my total. my goal was and still is 820!

    oh yeah, forgot training. /..... speed bench 135x5/ 225x3x9. did 15 sec break between sets of 3. / 2rds of yit / 2 sets of inc flyes/ 2 sets of front and side lats / 1 set of wide trip pushdown/ 2 set lat pushdowns

    thanks guys. sorry to anyone who reads this log. i know it looks very lazy, but i just haven't felt like myself past few weeks. very sore and just hurting physically. allergies now. however today i went in and felt pretty good while i was there moving. ~ upper access - 2rds of yit - close grip incbp (half thumb from smooth) barx10, 135x10, 185x10, 225x10- 2rds slb- facepulls and tri pushdowns 2x12

    ok going to sound weird, but i was happy with today because of a few things. 1)I just didn't feel right under the bar today. I felt i was all over with my set up. 2)I had a hard time getting my energy up today. So I am a month out and jokingly said to Tone usually I have good training cycles, this one isn't going so well so should be good meet. Would be nice if I really believed that. I didn't check weight today< i'll save someone else the trouble and call it fat!
