The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    YESTERDAYS Training

    Morning Weight = 215

    Musings
I finally remember to take my Beta-Alanine before workout. I didn't really feel tingles. Is 2g enough? Thats what the dosing says on the Primaforce one I have.

I did have a killer workout today which resulted in a MEAN PR.

My triceps pumps were insane despite the lack of direct training for them. Wish I had a tape measure in the gym haha.

PR's on Flat BB Bench are the best! There should definitely be more coming up now that you're adding on the mass.

What is that Xtend? When you first talked about it, I thought of Extendz, haha. I was wondering how the "male enhancer" helped your contest prep?!?

You are taking a bunch of supps man! That has to be a big bill to foot.

HMB was free and Xtend I used a free store credit to order.

Being Sponsored by ALN helps lol.

Xtend is a BCAA supplement. Tastes good and def helps during prep the most. I usually sip 4-5 scoops in a gallon of water throughout the day.

Nice work on the bench. Do you think Xtend would be helpful for someone that is not planning to compete?

Flat back with perfect form and a split second pause on the chest on each rep.

My form and ROM is immaculate on every lift I do. Its always form > weight for me.

Luna, Xtend or another BCAA supp intraworkout is great. A little birdie told me that ALN might have something in the works for Summer.

I drink 4 scoops during my workout. Thats 20g of instantly absorbing protein chains that do not need to be digested. Yes whey companies make the claim that BCAA's are found in whey but those are NOT free form BCAA's and need to be digested in order for your body to utilize them.

If you are bulking however, its not that important. On a caloric deficit, yes I find them to be very helpful.

Awesome workout! It's amazing what taking in a few more calories a day can do to your #'s isn't it. I'm amazed that your incline numbers aren't higher than they are with your flat benches coming along so well. I reckon it's fatigue after all those working sets though.
