The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Thanks for the support guys..

......here are some pics.....put on your sunglasses cause I glow....I am 8 days deep on 200g CHO and lots of cardio and heavy training so its the morning of my refeed....looking much tighter today after 350g CHO yesterday....and usually I look best ~40-48 hours later.

I just began another shorter stint of PSMF 5-7 days long before a week break and possibly another one.

    182 in the pics.

    179.8 this morning.

Here are a few from the PA warmup I decided to do last minute.

52 days of dieting down the hatch......missed the pro card after a split decision.

Its all good. 3 more shows for me this year =) Gonna be an EPIC season.

Saw the pics in the other section, but I can say it again.... looking solid for sure man. You will fare very well in every contest. I know you will be able to hit your peak as well. You have developed a damn good breadth of knowledge over the past 24 months. It's insane.

SICK SICK Workout. Worked out with a real life viking today. Matt's friend Freddie started lifting with us about a week and a half ago. He is 6'3" 250lbs and has that natural strength.....he is a martial artist, Marine vet, and works as a medic. Guy is cool as ****, his red beard and enormous stature will make him a beast once he lifts with us for a few more months. Guy just started lifting and he is doing Smolov JR with us using the same weights we are haha. My strength felt great throughout the workout. Really in the zone as of late. So far its been a good grow season. I am coming onto 11 weeks now and feeling great. Another 12 to go before I do a lil 2-3 week mini to clean up some fluff. For now......Operation chesticles is under way =) After this I am thinking Smolov Jr for Weighted Pullups =)

Typed an Epic Weekly Recap and my browser crashed so I'll get to the Point.

    Weight is 202-203

    Macros are ~80/550-600/225-250

And Today was my LAST day of Smolov JR for DB Bench

    RC Work

    Warmups on Barbell
    45 x 20
    95 x 15
    135 x 12
    185 x 8
    225 x 5

Switch to DB for working sets. (All reps FULL ROM touching chest and full lockout)

    120 x 4
    120 x 4
    120 x 4
    120 x 4
    120 x 4
    120 x 4
    120 x 4
    120 x 4
    120 x 5 (1 Extra for good luck)

Every rep of every set a HUGE PR!!!!

    Musings

Feel like a million bucks right now.......absolutely love these specialized routines.....I respond well to them. Hopefully this carries over to Barbell benching strength/volume nicely for continued growth and chest/shoulder development.

Going to be running a modified PHAT routine as of Sunday.......really looking forward to it.....then I'll do something specialized again before my Mini in April.

As far as life goes....works been keeping me really busy. Doing 5 shifts a week open to close which is awesome cause I get 10 extra hours and still 2 days off a week. My store is doing great since I took over. Running +30% YTD BLY for all of you familiar with retail. Today Buns and I are having sushi with Eric ( StaticZ)

So far I am having an AMAZING grow season. Staying injury free thus far and I am recovered hormonally 100% Today marks 12 weeks since I started eating up. I am about 22lbs over stage weight which is great improvement from my +46 lbs in 11 weeks back in 2009. I have been reading my log from that failed reverse for motivation.....I actually stopped lifting from Xmas till Jan 26th back then!! Unacceptable! http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...381901&page=11 For anyone who is interested!

Its also REALLY cool to compare where my strength, physique, and head were at a parallel time in my reverse between the two times.......
