    First meet under the belt!!

Meet was today and it went pretty well. Not bad for my first meet. I went 402/287/479 for a total of 1168.

I missed my first squat b/c of depth.. NASA is REALLY strict on depth, I mean REALLY strict. I thought I buried the first one, and I obviously didn't. I went up on my second one anyway, but it kind of screwed my whole strategy on squat, so I only hit a 402.

I was happy with my 286.6 bench, so I just decided to go big on the third one at 297+. I missed it. Oh well.

I was very happy with my deadlifts as I hit a 4 pound PR. I probably should have gone higher, but I'll take it. Here's a video from the meet.

    Video

Thanks in advance for any comments!

Results were posted today. I had the third highest coefficient. I'm pretty happy with that!

Good job! The plates obscured the hip on the vid of the 1st squat, but way to go on and take care on business on the next two. Very good 1st meet!
