My goal is to bench 800 lbs at 220 sometime in 2010. I will be 42 yrs old in January--the clock is ticking pretty damn fast. lol.
I competed at 242 this year and hated being that heavy--weighed 248-250 most of the year. Already down to 238--10 more lbs to go for my bodyweight goal.
Squat 550 raw, 650 single ply (now 500 raw)
Bench 385 raw, 450 single ply (now 330 raw)
Deadlift 600 raw, 625 single ply (now 550 raw)
Any PR is a good PR.
just get stronger. Long range goal is a 500# bench at #242 b/4 I am 50.
Hit a full meet and get a total. After that I want to total 2000 in the 242s, in a multiply fed.
PRs: 655/525/645 = 1825 Total

Ok, let me put this in writing and then we can see where I end up. I want to pull a raw 800 lbs. It isn't crazy far off, but at this point adding a little is a lot. With that said, I think I can do it.

I am gonna keep it simple! Just a 300lb Bench,400lb Squat and 500lb Dead! At a 240lb bodyweight! It is a simple but tough goal! I think Bench and Dead will be doable but that will be a lot of steel on my back! Good Luck guys! Do the work!!

Being a strong teenager means nothing.
My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.
Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.
My goal for 2010 is to bench 500 lbs. raw in a sanctioned meet @ 198. I'm not completely certain, but I believe I'd be the first person over 50 to hit 500 raw in that weight class.
My goals for 2010 Would probably be:
Finally lift fully geared at a meet.
Make a CPU nationals total (1500lbsish I think @242)
Lift Wise I haven't a clue. I'm sure my gains Gotta be slowing down soon But I'd like to make a 650lb squat, 400 bench, 600 Dead Next year.
