The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Sciatic pain will run down your legs, is that happening?
And why a Chiropractor? Why not a neurologist if you think it's sciatic related?

Yes, I have shooting pains/numbness in my left leg from my lower back all the way down to my ankle and foot. We're going to the doctor now first.

Hopefully I heal in a month or too, but I am going to focus on this new routine in the meantime. Going to build some boards this weekend if I have time and look into getting bands.

    Thanks for the support guys.

    Thanks man.

Its a program written by Mike Wolfe from Westside. Its basically a DE and ME Bench days, and 2 Upper Back days with some light shoulders.

Want to be benching at least 275 by the end of the semester. I'm maxing on bench next sunday hopefully i'll hit around 260.

I have my fingers crossed that your back injury isn't serious. I had a serious back injury at a young age, and it took years to get over it. But if you are able to walk around, it doesn't sound too serious. Hopefully a few months of rehab and you'll be back to normal.

Great first workout on the new routine. I like this cause upper back is my strongest and favorite body part to train. Will do this routine for at least 5 weeks, then reasses the back injury.

Thanks for the words guys. Pumped to finally max on bench again.

I'll admit it's not exactly a 90 degree angle but it's still legit.

Those all look like good choices for exercises given the injury. Definitely smart.
And those Db Rows are s-t-r-o-n-g!

Still got a PR, but was hoping for more. My spotters didn't know what they were doing, and gave me a horrible lift off on 265, but whatever I still missed it. Crushed 255 though and could have got 260. So my goal is 275 by May 1. Time to get to work!
