20 rep squats = asylum worthy. You 20 repper guys are out of your minds.

I won't be doing them for long .

The way the progression is set up the volume will naturally taper off and the intensity increases. Once you stall you take a 10% drop in weight and do it again, repeating the cycle.

Had to push my training up a day b/c of schedule conflicts. It was either get 1 day rest or 4 days rest. Since I'm just starting the cycle I figured it wouldn't be too bad.

    Bench
    145 x 5
    145 x 5
    145 x 17 PR, matched last weeks reps with +10lbs, RPE-10

    Curls
    60 x 10
    60 x 10
    super easy, meh...

    Squats
    175 x 5
    175 x 5
    175 x 11 RPE-hard 8
Not excited about this at all. Really should have been able to get a lot more than this.

    Neck
    10lb x 15 x 2 sets

Got all this done in about 30 minutes. Some thoughts on this session:
The benching felt incredibly easy. The first 10 reps felt like just the bar. Set up is super tight. Could still use more arch but I was pushing so hard off the floor my quads were burning by the end of the set

Squats just didn't feel right at all. Probably a combination of things. During a 20 rep set Wednesday and then staying up all night with the baby probably didn't help too much.

Oh well, got a good PR
