    For pausing, I would just slow it down a little and practice some press commands. Doubt it'll take much if anything off your bench if you practice with some lighter weight, but if you don't practice before the meet it'll really mess with your technique.

    I've made that mistake before lol

    YES! You must practice as you play. Not preparing for a press call is a recipe for disaster. Best of luck in your meet.

    My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.

    Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.

    its a full power/bench only/push pull meet--- its a state championship meet, so it has all of the SPF divisions for the lifters. This meet is shaping up to be a good one. I am really looking forward to it. We are not competing but will be there helping handle friends who are and to watch.
    Finally ELITE @ SHW..

    Single ply: 931 squat, 760 bench, 530 deadlift and 2180 total
