The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    DE Bench Video 1.9.10

This week we did doubled monster minis with the choked purples.

Louie has had me using the choked purples because he felt it'd help me speed through my lockout a good bit more. Seems to be working

We used doubled minis last week, this week doubled monster minis and next week will be doubled purples and choked green bands.

I'm cycling the accomodating resistance this cycle instead of the bar weight. I lost a lot of speed for whatever reason when I stayed with the same bands instead of cycling the band tension. Hopefully it works out much better this cycle.

Damn that was fast. I was having a coffee at the same time and the vid was over and I had barely sipped my coffee. When I watched it again it looked like I would like to join in (205lbs bar weight and 160lbs tension) but there is no way I could be that fast unless it is just the barbell.

If I haven't got bands can I use 135lbs but try and be that fast?

Thanks man. I've actually been working on losing a little bit of weight lately. I'm going to get down to around 250 and sit there for awhile. No plans to go 242, just I seem to be stronger at 255-250 than I actually am at 265. Not sure why.

Yeah straight weight certainly can be used.

*A note on the tension. I just kinda guessed at what the choked purples add at the top. The doubled monster minis add 110 at the top, I just felt like the purples added 50 at the top, but it's not really exact lol.

Thanks for the props guys. The real test will be this Wednsday when I get in my new Overkill shirt. Haven't been in a shirt since my last meet in early December

LOL! people may misunderstand the intent of the commercial and instead think it more geared towards regularity hahaha
