The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

That log is bad *****. The vipers look like a clean and press with out a pause at the shoulders (no rack). Is that right?

How tall are you and how much do you weigh? We seem to be very similar in build from what I can see in the vids. Well, except for the legs, your legs seem a lot bigger than mine.

*So much for deloading lol that lasted one day, but still made a big difference. Not bad at all today. My should still bothers me, but I was able to manage 8 reps with out much difficulty at 280. My best is almost 11 but I can't be disappointed by this effort. I tried a new shoulder warmup on my upperbody days and it seems to be helping.

Glad the shoulder is holding up and not getting worse. That was a nice bench session. I think sometimes it works just throwing in an extra rest day here and there. I think a full deload week should come somewhere beteen 8 and 12 weeks.

Me too, press and squats like the 5/3/1. Deads and bench don't like it as much.

Earlier in the year my Bench and DL took off nicely. But then again my shoulder was better so that explains the bench and I didn't try as hard with squat so I was more recovered for the DL. But then my life consited of work and sleep only because I was working overnight in a prison which probably helped my t-levels.

Offroad I got my log from Pitbull strongman equipment. It was not too bad I think I paid $120 if I remember right. He makes great equipment at a great price.

Watching Derek Poundstone log pressing prior to log presses seems to help with the intensity lol. He is a pressing machine.
