I was reading an article which stated that up to 75% of yu grip strength is derived from ur pinky, which can be problematic for some because it is a commoon injury to break the pinky finger.

I guess that to some extent this is true, as I notice how my grip when statically holding Dumbells, will always peel away from the pinky and once that happens then everything goes pear shaped.

Just thought this was interesting.

I intend to do some intensive grip strengthening over the next month or two since it is a problem for me with deadlifting where I need to use straps to get into any serious weight.
