Anyone out there currently doing SS and Vertical Jump Bible? I am in my second week of SS and as soon as my squat numbers get up to around 1.5xBW I will be starting the Plyo workouts from VJB.
If you have any experience with integrating the 2 programs please share. Thanks.
I actually am planning on doing this next week. I'll let ya know how it goes.
And just because you're not squatting 1.5x your body weight yet doesn't mean you can't start some light plyometrics once or twice a week.

You will have gotten stronger when the weight that feels heavy is actually heavier than the weight that feels heavy now. Then the weight that feels heavy now will be a warmup for the weight that feels heavy then. But the weight will always feel heavy or you're not lifting enough weight. Clear? -Rippetoe
Are you planning on doing plyos before your workouts? I've been doing a little research and it seems that is the most beneficial way.
