You need to get that finger looked at pronto.

Stitches are the least of it. There may also be a chance of infection.

    Great pulling though.
me: so this is the "pump" you speak of

    Thanks Nick

You're right I do. I don't have health insurance though so I'm just going to keep it clean and covered and hope for the best.

It was great I didn't really feel pain during the set due to the adrenaline rush but afterwards I was in pain.

It was a horrible bite I'll get a pic uploaded. I'd assume so just like most animals.

I forgot to mention that makes my sumo surpass my conventional pr, finally!! My conv pr is 440x1 then I switched to sumo. I love sumo I recover 10x faster from it and my traps have blown up.

Daaaamn, I almost missed this PR... damn 12th page! Look who has a huge sumo deadlift now?? Dude, that's awesome you went for it after you failed, I don't think I ever do that because I can never see myself putting more effort into it the 2nd time around. Where the **** is the video?!?!? I don't want to see you writing in a PR for a huge lift without a video! Congrats dude, that's awesome!

Yea sucks I didn't get a video. I do have a vid of the fail though haha. After I failed I didn't want to **** around with my ipod or my camera. I just wanted to stay focused and get that **** up. I'll have a vid for the 470 or 475 thats coming up in 3 weeks.

Yes I have. They got pretty big with conv dl but since I started pulling sumo they've got even bigger and I've been getting lots of notice about my traps lately. Here is an interesting article comparing the two and which muscles they hit.

And I've only been reading your journal thoroughly for 2 weeks, LOL.

I like the looks of those next 2 DL sessions.

I really love short breaks between sets on the big leg and back movements. It's not too exhausting, but you get this great feel physically and it's nice to really handle the weights quickly.

thomas, how have you been helping your hip flexor recover? i hate to say it...... but i think i'm developing some tendinitis in my right hip flexor. the weird thing is that i have massive hip, ham, quad and glute flexibility.. i dont know how i can help this beyond the dreaded RICE

The weight gain has been going better than expected but a little too fast. I woke up at 191 this morning. Last bulk I was nearly killing myself with food to get hear. I'm going to maintain for a awhile at 190 before I gain more. Got some quick shots up, bf% is up but still lean. Probably around 12%? I'm trying to keep my physique proportional I really need to bring up my lagging chest.

My obliques are so ****ing big I don't do any direct work to them either. Kind of reminds me of a football players obliques

Calves are measuring in at 16.25 inches. Still have vascularity in them as well.

Looking solid in those pictures, even though it's hard to see your leg development when you have your pants on (I'm really referring to that massive hairage you have going on)

That bench looked solid, you smoked the first 2, so I thought you had more in you, but that 3rd one looked tough. So 285x3 it is.

I'd love to focus on my bench again in the future. I really believe that I should be able to handle 300+, but I've only done it maybe a dozen times.

Yea the first two cruised the 3rd even came off the chest pretty good but I need to bring up my lockout strength. Quads are definitely bigger but not as defined. Here's a pic of how my quads look when I'm leaned out. Also even though my chest is still small it has grown since I took this pic earlier this year.

summer days. being lean is fun

i did see the link you posted.. sadly i was already all of those already as part of my daily PWO stretching, some in a different stretch.. but i have something for each hip flexor and all major lower body muscles. i think i have a real pull or strain here that needs rest. UGH!
