The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

i did see the link you posted.. sadly i was already all of those already as part of my daily PWO stretching, some in a different stretch.. but i have something for each hip flexor and all major lower body muscles. i think i have a real pull or strain here that needs rest. UGH!
That really suck man. Hip flexors truly are a bitch. Only thing I can think of is consult a massage therapist that specializes in athletes.

    Thanks Nick, more to come!

That's a lot of squats. So after about 4 sets of 355x3 you end up getting 5 on the last set and still have more in you, that's some good working capacity there!!

My quads have been living in DOMS-ville for the past 2 days! Every once in a while you just get that crazy DOMS and you remember how much it sucks, haha.

Thanks! Even after all those squats my legs weren't even that tired more so my core. I'll have some doms in my glutes tomorrow probably but thats about it.

Great box squats man. IMO there's no better feeling than standing up off a box with 300+ pounds on your back.

Fuk ya! While I was locking out the 5th rep on the last set of box squats the song I was listening to started to get to a really heavy screaming part then standing up with 355lbs on my back looking in the mirror just gave me such a crazy adrenaline rush.
Right at 2:27 is when I started pressing up off the box.

    Video

O man I just get such a rush from lifting weights lol. I'm like a crack head looking for the next big high.

Crazy box squats man! I know what you mean when you say a song can get you through a set. I was half expecting some sort of annoying screamo song when you posted that song but I liked that a lot. I'll have to check them out.

Also, I was reading in a different thread about your fitness/nutrition/supplement company. That's very impressive and good luck with it!

Carnifex is the ****!! Definitely an acquired taste I can only handle so much of them but on heavy days they are my absolute favorite.

Thanks man I absolutely love what I do for a living. With how many ****ty trainers there are out there it makes things a lot easier for me and I'm one of the top training company's in my area. Most of my weight loss clients Squat, deadlift, row, bench, push, pull in a fast paced fashion such as complex training, intervals, circuits. I make sure to increase the weight from week to week. We also do GPP with sleds, boxing, etc.... While the other trainers play with the stability and bosu balls.

Holy crap, there's a lot of serious weight being thrown around in here. Awesome job on the PRs, dude! What happened to your finger? Sucks that you have to pull with 4 fingers.
