My squat form used to be somewhat ****ty. It took a lot of work to get it where it is today. Still need improvement imo and is something I'll probably always work on. Here's an old vid of me squatting.

I'll be interested to see how the cut works out for you. I've cut as much as 17 pounds of water for a weigh in, and let me just say that I will never do that again.

I still can't believe the weight drop you plan on doing! insane.

Things look solid, and wow thankfully you don't squat like that anymore, although that form is better than most. What were some things you could say help contributed to better form on your squat over the years?

Gonna cut 17 pounds in a week? Yikes. You guys are crazy with how far you cut. It takes a ton of discipline to do that. Good luck. You're getting a ton stronger.

Ha, should be interesting. Its a 24 hour weigh in so I think I'll be ok.

Getting my deadlift strength up and most of all low box squats really helped my squat form. Also just being more mentally aware.

A little over 30lbs. I did it wrong though and lost strength and came in to light at 179.

Thanks! With this wider stance I'm always so worried I'm not hitting depth cause it doesn't feel like it but often going below parallel which is cool.

I feel the same way, lol. I'm not that flexible so it's always in the back of my mind if im squatting wide. I think i'm going to mess around with a wider stance, just to do something different.

Squats are looking awesome! That's pretty much the same stance I use when I squat. What are you planning to squat at the meet?

Nice, I wish I would have played around with this stance earlier depth comes a lot soon and actually feels better on my lower back. Now If I get some oly shoes depth will come even sooner. Really toying around with the idea of getting some oly shoes.

Not sure yet. I kinda fuked myself by training in wraps for so long. I'm getting more comfortable out the wraps I'm hoping for around 475ish.

Good looking squats Thomas. Wide stance is definitely my favourite too. DE bench looked really good too.

Cant wait for this meeting to come already and see you put up the big numbers.
