Those 19 reps are impressive Tom, especially after the double with 315! Also congrats on helping that kid make so much progress, you obviously are a great trainer and work hard in what you do, you deserve the success you are having.

Excellent work with the 2 girls. All this training is really paying off for you. The way things are going I can see 3 girls in your very near future.

Meh just an okish day. My left anterior deltoid was burning out first on everything, so annoying. The rest of my body wasn't even close to fatiguing but in every lift my damn anterior deltoid kept giving out.

Also, I'm doing this coming meet at 198, 181 just doesn't fall on schedule with my bulk/cut cycle. I'll probably compete in july as a 181er.

I bet it's nice to be able to work with the heavier folks. The gains can be noticed so quickly, and as long as they stay motivated they can see weekly, if not daily, progress that keeps them motivated.

Is there a particular reason you attract the teenagers? (not trying to be funny, "ThomasG is like that old perverted man on Family Guy") Do you advertise to help younger athletes or anything?

The meet is on march 26th.

At First I didn't advertise at all for teens and younger kids its just kinda happened that I started training a lot of them. Then I noticed I really enjoyed working with younger kids and its a big market. Parent's are willing to spend hundreds of dollars a week on their kids whether its for weight loss or athletic development. Just recently I started advertising for training kids. He and his mom met with me today and I signed him up . He wants to play football too!!

Nice work Thomas!!! Personally, I think you made to big of a jump. You should of gone maybe 625-635, just my 2cents. Don't let ur deadlift get to you...trust me, I've been down that road.

Rule of thumb is 90% though right? 90% of 655 is 589. Would you recommend more around 95% before 100%?
