The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

On the leg press after watching I need to focus on a slower eccentric I just wasn't used to the over speed eccentric the bands create!

What would the green bands be, light or average? I watch most of your videos and it seems like you've got very good flexibility in your hips, do you do any specific stretching or just deep squatting/sumo pulls?

For hips I do stripper squats, mountain climbers outside the knee, static stretching, sled pulls and v-sits.

Green band is one step above a strong band which I believe is a heavy band.

    #4 Band 1 3/4 in. 50-120 lbs.

    Hypertrophy day Back/shoulders/traps.
bw:189-WTF?!? I've been consistently hitting 3500-4000 cals. My metabolism is calling me out. Well Mr. metabolism I accept your challenge. I'm going to throw 6 eggs on top of my regular calories and keep adding more eggs if necessary. I've had good past experiences with eggs I believe they are a great anabolic food source.

Again mostly focused on feeling the muscle than number on my hypertrophy day

    DB Row
    95x8
    95x8
    95x8

    DB Shoulder press
    75x8
    75x8
    75x6

    Super setted with

    Plate raise

    45x8
    45x8
    45x8

    Vertical D-bar row

    x13
    x12
Had to stop, tennis elbow. Vertical pulling is whats most hard on my elbows

    Lateral Raise

    25x12
    25x12
    25x12
    25x12

    Band pullaparts

    x15
    x10
    x15

    Shrugs
xbunch of reps-I hate shrugs I'm going to do away with them.

    Band upright rows
orangex15-these were hitting my traps solid but again had to stop vertical pulling is too harsh on the tennis elbow for now.

Usually Raw out of convenience. Right now I just blended up 3 eggs, 1 cup skim milk, 0.5 cup egg whites and a scoop of chocolate protein powder. It tastes like cake batter. I could probably use another egg and less milk to give it a thicker texture.

How did you get started? Do you train your clients at a gym not affiliated with your business, or do you have your own facility? I would really like to do something like this in the future and am curious as to the best way to get started.

Incredible work as usual. Looking great in that new shot, crazy legs and abs as the others said. I'm also a huge fan of tossing raw eggs in the blender w/ some protein powder, tastes delicious. Pretty awesome business/job too man, major props on doing something you love as a career. I'm still super jealous of that metabolism haha, my fridge is packed full of food that I can't eat
