The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Deads look good. I'm interested to see what your pull is at with your new form. Looks like 600 is just around the corner.

Are you asking if you should do them on ME, DE or both? If so, you can do both. I've done speed pulls a lot off a deficit. I probably wouldn't do them both in the same week, at least not all the time. Just my .2 cents...
I was debating whether I should take me DE to a 2" deficit and/or my ME to a 2" Deficit. Currently I've been doing both of a 1.5" deficit.

I hear adding chains is better for bicep width, but you'll lose some of your peak.

I do it cause its easier on my tennis elbow than straight weight. I also feels its good to throw in every once in awhile.

I think you need to utilize chains more in your training. Only weak point I can see.

You know you're a powerlifter when you order 2 entres whenever you go out. Its always fun to watch the waitress' face when you order 2 or 3 meals and then eat every last bite then order another half rack of ribs while you're date has dessert.

I call 'em Leaning Lateral Raises.

I love them that way. I've been doing them for over a year. I started doing them consistently before my last contest and my shoulder width was pretty insane for my body. My width surprised me once I saw the footage.

Keep doing them, that's all I'll say.

What wrist wraps are you using? I have a pair of Titans that I like, but i'm 99% certain that they sent me two of the same wraps, i.e. two left-handers or two right-handers.

Thank you! I use APT's 12" convicts. They're pretty good have served me well but when I handle 400+lbs my wrists hurt sometimes. I need to get longer ones. And train my skinny little forearms...
