Ehhh they weren't easy or hard. Squats been struggling lately. I just need to get used to getting under heavy weight more often.

Yea I don't think they are but a lot of people think vibrams are douche baggy for whatever reason.. Hell if their comfy I'd wear them in social setting IDGAF is they're socially acceptable or not.

Used them for ~1 year or so. Were great for sprints, and I liked them for deads. Squats they felt a little...squishy. The durability was horrendous, however.

They also trap odors like nobody's business.

i tried the vibrams and didnt like

i ended up buying some merell barefoot embark train glove goretex shoes instead. they do use the vibram sole though. i did deads in them recently and theyre nice. i still prefer adistars for squats though. nothing beats that wooden block heel

Not really a fan of Vibrams. They aren't durable at all...they will start smelling bad (unless you have 5-toe socks which are lame and a chore)...and I never felt the same response from them as I did my Chucks or pumas. I am considering getting oly shoes for squatting. I heard they are better for raw lifters.

Hmmm I've been reading mixed reviews everywhere it looks like something Ill just have to find out for myself. And Rob oly shoes are dependent on stance. I squat wide so they wouldn't be good for me.

Saturday I worked to up to 375 off a one board. Meh... Progressing on the bench at this point is pretty damn hard. Thinking back to when I smoked 365 I was religiously doing heavy DB bench, mostly 4x8. For some reason I stopped. Actually I stopped cause I suck at them which is a big reason I should be doing them. I'm going to start doing more DB Work and see how things go.

    Yesterday rest day

I saw some pretty cool shoes in the gym the other day. Merrells are basically Vibrams minus the toes.

Nice work on bench Thomas. Sucks that you had to lift alone, 420 self liftoff is no joke.

I swear sometimes you expend more energy just unracking the weight than you do with the actual press, lol. I feel your pain having no spotter to give you a lift-off.

Word. I had to bench in the power rack too which for whatever reason is kinda awkward.

I used to do these like crazy 2 years ago. I decided to go with the Sumo stance for variety and just loved them from the jump.

315x reps is a nice starting point I'd say!
